Attention soldiers and servants of the Imperium!

You are to use this channel to report any logs or events that are worthy of the attention of Imperial High Command. This includes post-battle reports, new intelligence, or anything else that will further our cause. If one of your reports catches our eye, we may see fit to act upon it.

In addition, we shall be notifying you of standing orders that determine the course of action the Imperium is to take in Sirius. These will periodically be updated, and it is your responsibility to check in on any possible changes.

Glory to the gods.
Imperial High Command

Attached: Current Standing Orders (Last updated 10/31/819)
Quote:1. Establish first contact with local groups (Outcasts and Zoners in particular)
2. Assess local systems for anything of note
3. Patrol Noricum (Inverness) for anything suspicious; do NOT engage anything unless in self-defense
4. Look for any lucrative opportunities for Classis Commercialis trade
5. Assist Mollys in combat operations against Corsairs (Emergency landings allowed at Arranmore when engaging Bretonian or Corsair forces), stay 15k away from Londonderry jumphole in Dublin system.

<<Incoming transmission>>

*A man appears on screen. The transmission has a static for a few seconds, a bump is heard, and the man re-appears*

Hello there...Vibius Pontius here. So, basically...

*another static. A bigger bump is heard. The man re-appears*

*whispering* That should fix you piece of junk...

Ok, I was saying...Vibius Pontius here.
My superiors wanted a report on what's behind the planet the Sirian barbarians call "Curaçao", so here's my report.

So, apparently, there is something behind "Curaçao", a jump hole, in sector D3
file #I

I jumped in and I found myself in yet another one of these Sirian ice fields. In front of me, the light of a sun. No trace of anything else.
file #II

Following the light of the sun, I found myself out of the ice field, and the discovery was very, very satisfactory.
A gas giant, with 5 moons orbiting around it. Many of them had a surface composed of metals wich can be used for both civilian and military purposes, like iron and copper.
file #III
file #IV

I wasn't done, yet. The ice moon you see in file #IV was inhabitated. In fact, there was a system of rings not unlike the ones seen orbiting other Sirian planets.
Three rings orbited the ice moon. Radio signals from the surface were coming from a group called "the Colonial Republic" (I'm sure the name will not sound new to many) and a group of miners. The fact that two groups would share the same planet suggests some sort of relationship between them.
file #V
file #VI

To the north of this moon system was a desert, barren world of scarce interest.
file #VII
file #VIII

But the real treasure was a blue planet. An ocean planet with distinguishable island landmasses.
Sadly for us, someone reached it first, as was to be expected. The surface emitted radio signals, analogous to the ones of the ice moon: the same "Colonial Republic" and it was orbited by one of the trademark Sirian rings. It was also orbited by a big shipbuilding facility, similar to the one we have seen in the Sirian system of New London.
file #IX

The planet also had a big ship with big guns on it. Size of guns and ship itself suggest the purpose could be the same as the one of the fish-shaped ships of western Sirius: battleships.
file #X

Satisfied by these discoveries, I returned to the ice field, trying to return to the system of Cortez/Curaçao. Apparently, I wasn't done yet with discovering interesting things:
Sirian engineering is more advanced than most of us thought.
The barbarians somehow connected a few asteroids and built habitations inside and even on top of them.
file #XI
The asteroid city is inhabitated by a multitude of peoples, mostly self-declared "freelancers", people who work for either themselves or under contract for other people (and I can see in them potential mercenaries). The station is run by a multitude of "freelancers", but there's apparently other peoples on it, too, common criminals (some with strange breathers in their noses) and even "Colonials".
I stopped there, knowing the place to be safe enough. I tried to hide my identity, calling myself "Thomas Hudson", though something tells me I'll not be able to hold this comedy for long. Should I not receive an answer to this report, I'll return to the Junker base of Trafalgar tomorrow, but I'll wait my superiors' orders for now.

Pontius out.
