Recently I came to a conclusion that The Order could use update to its capital line. All ships would stay as their current class with all their capabilities and overal design - simply sort of remake of the same thing.

Hathor Gunboat

As much as I like it, it deffinately needs a better texture job. Remake of a Hathor with less "Zoner" and more "Order" - . It makes sense that at this point faction will dump characteristics of its gunboat's little brother while simmilar shape gives out its ancestry. Personally I request to keep the bridge in the front and exchange intake below it for cargohold and dropship ramp - little RP addition.

Resheph Recon Cruiser

What bothers me most: external frame makes entire cruiser look extremely (way too much) fragile and some of its guns are placed in riddiculous positions. Windows on the engine section which give out having crew over there are totally disconnected from rest of the ship - merely joined by engine tube.

My personnal request is to keep simmilar size and its unique third engine in the front section - a specific "chin" accomodating said engine should look good enough. Round bridge and Osiris-like arch should stay. Longer spikes coming out of the front to facilitate Spyglass array it does have onboard. Eventually experiment with adding small hangar in front or middle section to play with concept of mobile spy-base as it is.

Geb carrier

Insufficient feeling of the ship being "related" to Osiris as infocard says. Current model has few problems and was made for battlecruiser even if its size scream otherwise. Medium battleship/carrier with launch tubes at the front is in order here.

Straight-through landing runways > launch tubes IMO.

Glad to see you are still around Tenacity.

Nevertheless - maybe I should dust off my modeling creativity for the Order Gunship. The 'zoner' feel is boring already so something 'newly' design should pop! No offense Jinx.

Modellers are always needed, and should be properly rewarded. If someone's ready to accept that job, I declare 2 B from my personal funds as a support, if this ship is added to the mod.

Getting pre approval from the dev team for their need or want to handle three new capital lines would greatly increases the desire to do this. As it is, I find it hard to believe that they would accept three brand new models for these ships. There is a lot of work into reworking ships to fit new models. So just because you have the models doesn't mean they are making it in game ever.

I don't mean to sound harsh, I agree with redoing the entire line, but modeling three new ships is a lot of work for little guarantee of them being implemented.

It is true that having a model doesn't guarantee that it will be added to the mod, for any number of technical or design reasons. That said, I personally would find it hard to turn down the offer of a new model that is of higher quality than a current model. We are always trying to improve the gameplay experience.

I would expect nothing less, I was just under the impressions the dev team (especially in the hitboxing area) had a lot to do. I mean I would be happy to take a crack at these models eventually if their is any chance they would make it into the mod.

I do not expect from one person to make a replacement for entire line - doing a potential model for just a single ship from the list is satisfactionary, allthrough you can make a go on entire shipline if you have time and willingness to do so. If your model will be deemed fit for purpose and complete for implementation, I will personally push for it as The Order's official faction leader.

I think the ships will look better if one person does them all. But If you guys have any ideas or sketches send them my way. I have a lot on my plate right now, and a few people besides the devs have already asked me to work on models for them but I am a big fan of the order and I think it would be cool if they flew a line of ships I designed.
