Don't get me wrong, I learned my lesson about buying alpha games from PrisionArchitect, Drifter and Starsector as well as Rimworld. Tho Starbound was made by the Terarria peeps, so it is pretty damn nice even as alpha. Basically Terraria II, Space Edition.

I know, I am watching TotalBiscuit , The Cynical Brit channel, he's playing the game with someone, seems funny but still buggy. I am gonna to give it a try after they work a bit more on it.
Nvidia cards have a FPS drop, but that is fixed via manually disabling Multicore Optimization for the exe.

I don't know why but I laughed so hard when I've read about the FPS drops on a game with that graphic. Initially I thought, what the hell? How can you get FPS drops on this? Then I've kept reading and stop laughing.
Also, the game is pretty hard lol.
It is hard as dicks, man. In terarria, after 5 hours, you'd be swatting around the Old Man. I am currently trying to muster up the resources for the knight armor, which is the next level after copper. It is bloody hard.
I blame two things. Health does not slowly regen over time, and the fact that stuff takes up two resources, for example, copper and iron. The former is widespread, the later is not.

If you play alone is even harder. I guess is fun with another player. Is there a share option on resources? The videos I am watching are not saying anything.
I wouldn't know, I am playing it alone so far. I am watching the same videos tho, but it seems like they have to manually share the loot by swapping it.
