"Interplan taxi 3 requesting 38 visas for planet manhatten."
"Thank you Fort Bush, have a nice day."
This is the part that made Jack squirm everytime because it was here where the 'tourists' he was 'taxiing' were most at risk of being caught and even executed. No doubt he himself would be in for worse should the Liberty authorites catch him.

But it was the right thing to do. Leeds is a hell hole and the people there were desperate. The whiole system was a cauldron of blood and hate, but the people, the guys who worked in offices, they didn't deserve this.

And so he would keep bringing them to the safety of Liberty. Of course some didn't want to go and that was their choice but most of them were just good people who'd last everything during the war.

The main issue though is that Liberty has very strict immigration laws and Pittsburg was supposed to be the place for refugees. That's no kind of life for anyone especally children, the acrid smoke would shorten their lives by a factor of 10.

So he decided to break the law. Not for profit like most people but for the well being for as many people as possible.

So everyday he makes a run from Leeds to Manhatten with the hopes of finding people a better life.

It's not been easy though, his ship is only a civilian shuttle, anything bigger would attract suspsion but it lacks the defeses of a long range craft. Indeed he lost one and 40 people to pirate attacks already, he just had to hope the insurance company didn't start asking too many questions...

There's a group of them now, hoping to work with the major houses to relieve the civillian death count but it's slow going and filled with red tape. But the Humanitarian Front would make sure that as many people as possible actually have a life to lead.
