So Brian was saved by stewie in the episode christmas guy. vinny and stewie saw a older version of stewie who came back in time for a item in the mall. vinny distracts older stewie and current stewie grabs the return pad goes back in time and tackles brian out of the way of the car that killed him. Vinny said his goodbyes to stewie before stewie used the time pad so now theres no more vinny.
