They have gotten way out of control the balance is lost, to many people are becoming pirates whole groups and other carriers don't stand a chance against them. This isn't right at all. Why should I spend the time to get the ship that costs millions 108 to be exact and then buy the freight just to loose it why should I even bother playing the game it's now a waste of time. You will loose more and more RP'ers if this continues. 1 on 1 is fine I can deal with that but when 2 or 3 attack it's impossible. The scale of the game has turned South.
So if someone wants to be a pirate make them pay for it anyone who is a pirate put up a bounty board on all and anyone who is a pirate the full list and who is online at the time. Make the bounties high enough so it's worth while. Highlight in game on the chat channel in red when they are a pirate.
Place bounty at 4 million for low class and upwards to their ranks the higher the rank the more $$$. It isn't fair that traders suffer the most and we don't know who is who. I say this because I'm getting tired of loosing all kinds of credits because this wasn't thought through enough. If it continues I will leave the game. I'm on Skype Djoser197007, or my regular connection here, I would like some feed back
Thanks for your time
Well, one on one is managable. Three on one is not supposed to be managable. Otherwise it would not be fair to them, eh?

First and foremost,
the amount of pirates is more than low,is...almost none existing,at least compared to the amount of liberty navy police, which keeps a big stronghold of 50% of players logged at times(some really needs to organize pirates again.. )
Secondly you said that you can deal with 1v1 encounters, which of course it is true because transports gained a big buff with current version which forces pirates to hunt in groups than do it alone
Third ,bounty..well..there's plenty of them(blanket bountys which are set on Player ID and not Names) but as a bounty hunter i can tell you this..i do not log because there's nothing to hunt..pirates numbers are just low..
Last thoughts: Pirates disturbing your safe journey?
News Break: Space is Dangerous . Deal with it !
People want to believe that God has a plan for them.
They don't wanna believe that anyone else does..
Ey djoser1970 you need to relax i think you play only trader and game starts be work for you fork for credits its bad i know how it is i play all tie trader before rollback. Try create BHG or somethink like that and kill some pirates =)
Don't listen to those who just cheer when someone is down.
It is frustrating. Losing always is. Will always be.
It's especially hard for those who are new in the game and who still need the money to participate fully.
The important point is: Don't let it get to you.
PMed you. There are a few things you can do.
PS.: And, one lesson for this community: Don't complain on the forums. Too many idiots are in this "fine community" who feed on tears and who love to kick those that are down.
Aye, if he can't man up and deal with it then he won't live for long.
The story is same for both sides of the argument, actually. You should not forget that OP.
Man, what the hell, are you deliberately trying to find pirate encounters or something?
When I first started playing, I traded all over Sirius, I made around 600 million, then pretty much stopped. In all that time I encountered 1 pirate outside of Liberty, and a few lolwuts in NY, at the most I lost about 10/20 million to pirates (blown up, or paying them).
Pirates are rare, you should feel privileged you've encountered so many.
I'm not going to give you any tips, bad for business (I pirate), but pirates are easy to avoid, I do ore runs myself carrying 50 million worth of cargo at a time, I like the fact that pirates exist, it adds to the risk factor, and makes me think a bit more and plan my journey.
