Formerly when I dispatched a Hogosha ship, the would squeal and drop "Hogosha". Now when I use them as pinatas, they drop "Pirate Pilots".

What gives? This just started a few days ago.

I collect Hogosha and its most distressing not to be able to show them off.

I'm guessing only certain Hogosha patrols actually carry Hogosha pilots. Not sure why, though.

I just took a glance in IFCE (with the Discovery-specific files installed) and Hogosha pilots are there. Your guess is as good as mine.

It's official, I have too few ships now...

It's God telling you to stop farming NPC's.... Like when the Diamond route went all crazy-like.

Relax, Tora. He's the first tester of my new decoy system. I'm proud to say it was a success.

We hire inexperienced Dragons through a third-party proxy to fly CSVs aimlessly, telling them that their CSV flying is to trick the Hogosha into an ambush, but they're really serving as a false target so our enemies instead shoot our other enemies.

-Nori Koga

Jokes aside, that happens with some Corsair and Outcast NPCs. Low-level ones drop Pirate pilots, high-level drop faction pilots.

It's easier to tell with the Corsairs and Outcasts because there's more ship variety. Not sure exactly how it works for Hogosha, but I'd assume it'd be based on weapon loadout.

Those daggon Hogosha NPCs -do not die-

They just float around in their CSVs forever being shot at, slowly being whittled away. Don't shoot them with anything but debs and a supernova anymore.

Oh my.

Activating, "You annoy me" beams behind eyes...fixing gaze...

Where's my Hogoshas!!? Me wantz!!

I don't farm them--I am liberating them. The think I like them when I become friendlier to Corsairs then I have to come back and reeducate them.

Is it my fault they are dumb?

And those aren't Dragons flying your CSVs.

We found Hogosha, told them to impersonate Dragons and then to act as Hogosha again once the Hogosha asked them to fly the CSVs.

Yep...that's it.

Of course, on that note, Junkers die very very easily.

Kaboom!

Problem is no one wants them =/

that's because junkers have no value, they're a bunch of scrap-peddling petty thieves and thugs.

Hogosha, on the other hand, are criminal masterminds with lots of money :D

Ever killed a low level Outcast dagger? It drops a Pirate pilot.
Ever killed a low level Corsair legionaire? It drops a pirate pilot.

There are Hogosha pilots around, but not in every ship.

And don't kill HOGOSHA! WE KILLZ YA BACK THEN!

Can't let you bash folks in your sig Chopper-Del
