This is Watana Kai reporting from Planet Kyushu today, were many are celebrating the news of the past few days. First the transmission from the assumed dead, deposed Emperor Jien Kogen, a figure much revered in Kyushu, a system dominated by traditionalist and run by Samura. Now word of the first battle between the KNF and Kogen's "Ronin" force here in Kyushu. by all accounts the encounter ended in victory for the Ronin. Reports suggest that the one KNF fighter was downed while there were no Ronin losses. What has really stirred up the masses here on Planet Kyushu were the snippets of radio chatter from the battle that have been broadcast by underground radio.
These transmission have been heard all over the Planet, playing in tea houses and Sake bars. Many are out in the streets dancing, talking of a return to traditional Kusari.
