After a long trip through the inhospitable Omicrons and a meeting in space with Core Guildmaster Aleister Corke, Martin Reynolds guided his Black Dragon into the docking bay of Dabadoru Station. Kacey Pavlichenko, one of the Company's freshest recruits, was certainly doing the same.

Within a few minutes, the two Reavers would get to meet the Guildmaster face-to-face.

Leaving the Kusari fighter's cockpit, Martin had a quick look around. Several engineers were at work in the hangars. Judging from the surprised looks on their faces, Black Dragons were not a common sight for them. With a small smile curling around his lips, Martin walked towards the exit of the hangars, and headed to the station's bar.

He didn't expect much of it. The Core didn't seem like an organization that would invest in a luxurious bar for its employees to spend their time in. Regardless, it would likely serve drinks, which was all he needed after the trek through hostile territory.

With what was an extremely dangerous voyage, in her point of view but yet, a voyage that was in need to be done, the ragged but still controlled Kacey 'Zoner' Pavlichenko, walked into one of the access corridors of the hangar bay. In there she saw her boss, Martin 'Cerulean' Reynolds. With a small nod, she greeted him.

"Sir, we're probably in the last place for us to be. Our ships aren't the most... casual."

Martin returned her nod.

"You're right, Kacey. However, I trust the Guildmaster instructed his men to leave us - and our ships - alone."

Still fully geared up, he gently tapped on the rifle tied on his back.

"I've still got this. Not that we'd be able to fight ourselves out of here, but if they wanted to harm us, they'd have taken it from me."

She looked at the rifle and nodded. His reasoning was sound. But everything about the Reavers was anything but sound. From engaging an Order taskforce alone to enter a furball in New York where the odds were five to one, the Reaver Merc. Co. was usually deep in the unconventional way of thinking and of work.

"I only wished we had brought a couple of ninjas."

Kacey sighed and followed Cerulean to the bar.

Inside the bar, Guildmaster Aleister Corke found himself sitting in a private lounge, a room inside the bar that is separated from the other tables through a red wall that murdered any king of sound which would try to propagate through them.

Inside it, a rectangular table guarded at its sides with long sofas embroidered with a soft red leather while the two heads of the table were ended with two arm chairs of the same material.

Aleister Corke stood at arm chair which resided against the wall, his eyes were glaring over the table towards the door opposite to him. On the table, three round, small objects exerted their existence, they were buzzers that, once pressed, would summon a waitress to collect the orders.

The Guildmaster planned the arrival of his two guests with tact, as it was expected of him. He wanted intimacy to carry on the necessary conversation, but he also wanted punctuality, both from him, and his guests and that is why, he instructed a man to wait for them at the bar's entry.

The dice are now wriggling in the hands of fate. They are about to be thrown.

Approaching the entrance of the bar, a man about a head taller than Martin halted the two Reavers. He looked like your average guard - well-built, intimidating, but not unusually bright.

He spoke with a deep voice and little intonation.

"The Guildmaster is waiting for you. Follow me."

The man promptly turned around and, with a slow, long stride, led Kacey and Martin to Corke's private lounge. Once they arrived, he knocked on the door exactly three times. As he then opened the door, he extended one arm as if he was about to simply push the two guests into the room.

Martin turned his head to look at his companion.

"After you, Kacey. Ladies first."

A small smirk was seen on her lips as she walked in first. A man, most likely the Guildmaster was sitting with his back to the wall, facing the door and table. Without waiting for Martin she walked towards the table, and then she used the biggest weapon she had in these occasions.

Kacey flashed a smile that some people said that it could melt a sun.

"Guildmaster. I am Zoner."

" Good evening " The Guildmaster nodded as they entered the room, extending his hands over the table and pointing them towards the seats, and coaches they could sit on.

" Make yourselves comfortable. I am sure you find all of this to your liking, don't you? " He continued, not raising himself up from his sit or literally doing any other type of animation than the movement of his eyes as they narrowed down on the two guests he had.

He couldn't afford to lose sight of them, and this wasn't a precaution done out of mistrust, but more rather courtesy and impression. You cannot afford a conversation with someone without looking him in the depth of his eyes.

The next moment, he grabbed one of the buzzers and gripped it firmly in his hand, constricting it and forcing it to flash a swift red light that quickly dissipated as Corke loosened his grip. It was a matter of seconds, a minute at most, that a waiter would make his appearance.

Zoner asked for a beer, and both men also asked for their drinks, but Kacey was busy getting a linen wrap over her shoulders. Looking back at the Guildmaster with a tense look, the man was eyeing both of the Reavers, measuring them up. And after all, Kacey knew that first impressions do count. And that means business was on.

"It is, Guildmaster. I thank you for the invitation so that we can conclude our deal."

She then looked at Cerulean, waiting for him to talk.

Martin ordered a glass of water - no more, no less. An unusual decision, but one that allowed him to keep as clear a head as possible.

"Good evening," he returned the Guildmaster's greeting. The man looked rough. Intimidating, even. But most of all, he looked like someone who could survive, and thrive, out in the most dangerous region of space. The Edgeworlds.

"A pleasure to meet you, Guildmaster Corke. I am Martin Reynolds, Cerulean Reaver."

He didn't usually give his full name. However, it was highly unlikely that the name of a mere sergeant in the LPI would ring a bell for the Guildmaster. And it sure was a lot more convenient than "Cerulean".

"Shall we talk business, then?"
