Well one LN guy throwed THREE junkers out of Liberty because they got 2 Salamancas.
Engaged them near Beaumont with one BH and a merc.
I tried to RP it out but this was nothing but PvP whoring.
Time to pull put my mobile scrapyard and park it above Rochester, i think.
Attacking for weapon type is a bit silly, if I was them I'd RP it as, surrender the weapons for disposal. If you disobey, well I may attack or attempt a fine.
Were the junkers using the weapons or have them in the cargo bay?
If they are official faction members, contact the admiralty before anything worse happens.
You can expect the liberty lawful factions to do just about whatever the hell they want regardless of RP or server rules and get away with it. First they ban nomad guns, then outcast guns, then corsair guns, then they ban everything coming from rheinland.
It's a shame there is no true economy here, or Liberty would have collapsed from their behavior already.
Geez, Tenny, cool down. We KNOW you have a vendetta with Liberty. This has not far to go before a "Let's-flame-Liberty-into-the-grave"
*places pie, sets timer*

I think it is partly the fault of us unlawfulls in Lib. We have been man handleing them so bad lately that I think they are getting a bit trigger happy. Can't really blame them...
Are you seriously expecting us to not ban Outcast and Corsair weapons?
Rheinland's embargo is due to a cultural and military subtext already in place, we're gearing for war Tenacity, and I might add we'd be able to supplement any essential and on-essential goods from Rheinland with those from Bretonia I imagine.

Doesnt give them the right to harass people for equipment, especially when the corsairs are no direct threat to liberty. There are no corsairs in liberty, and never have been - technically the liberty navy/police shouldnt even recognize corsair weaponry or ships.
Unless the person using the ship or equipment is smuggling, or openly hostile to civilians and/or lawfuls at the time, the LN had nothing justifying their attack here.

Supposition.
Corsairs are a serious threat to our direct, and closest ally Bretonia. Seeing the affect and result of Corsair presence in Bretonia we would, and should in terms of a military presence take all actions to prevent them from gaining a foothold in Liberty.
While attacking over someone's guns is a little on the zealous side of affairs its not without reason to see why Libertonian authorities are unwilling to tolerate the presence of weapons known to be pruduced and employed by a major criminal organisation.
I would have thought Liberty would have knowledge of many if not all pirate faction in Siruis. The LSF is an intelligence branch and possibly 'spy' group. Shoot me if I'm wrong. Therefore, they would have knowledge of the other House's local pirates.
Another possible reason is the shipping companies encountering the pirates en-route.
e.g. Bowex takes Gold from Bretonia to Liberty for some reason, they see Corsairs and get attacked. When the transport comes back into port, the report would show who and what the pirates were using. Not to mention Bretonia in this case would upload pirate information into the shipping ships so they can identify factions easier.
I think that covers Liberty somehow not knowing the Corsairs. I asmit they have no presence in Liberty, but every House would share information on criminal factions so they can be eliminated wherever they are.

Using my above statement, Liberty officials would recognize the illegal(?) weaponry and attempt to dispose of them properly to attack the smuggling ring indirectly (in RP).
I do not condone the actions of the said Liberty craft, they took it too far when they engaged the Junker with that weaponry. Too far.
EDIT: Darn you Turkish, beat me to the punch.
