The cannibals

Hey there my dear community....I recently had an idea that I would like to share with you and get your valued opinions on it.....

I had an idea of creating a Corsair faction called The Cannibals or Los Canibales if you preffer....It would be a group of kinda mentally ill corsairs who still openly practice cannibalism left over from the dark history of their people...They are the kind who don't pirate ships for cargo or money, but for food, and by that I don't mean food rations...That's right, they will be capturing crew members and cook them, barbecue them, make delicious roasts from them (if Karst decides to join), well you get the point.....Now as I said since they are a bunch of mentally ill individuals, even the regular Sairs would try to avoid them and threat them with caution since, they never know if they might become the next meal....

I would like to get some feedback on this idea, and see if you like it or not, so I can get around to writting a more detailed faction info for it......

I eagerly await your opinions, suggestions, flamming etc....

You can do what you want in fact. Another story is people taking you seriously or not. In that case I'm sure it's going another way then the Lore so expect problems.

about a year or so ago, during an extended lulz session on the benitez skype, we came up with the idea of 'discovering' the cannibals cookbook - essentially a list of recipes for how to cook the different factions of sirius, and then we would have to go out and collect (read: cargo piracy) the different ingredients for the dish, and post pictures of the collection in the RP section.

Naturally, the idea was shot down by the Benitez elders (who were more sober at the time ), but it would be a perfectly reasonable course of action for a Los Canibales faction.

LC: hey gringo, have you been working out recently?
Trader: Why, yes, thank you for noticing
LC: do you smoke? drink? take synthweed?
Trader: no, not at all, disgusting habit
LC: Caliente! I found something from the Organic section of the supermarket!
Trader: err... what?
LC: I need 7 units of synthpaste from you... and your liver

Your version of what you achieve (which would be one of the most brutal fates imaginable) will always be in sharp contrast to what the other party allows to happen.

I can already say: shoot as many of my ships, you will never put your teeth into any of my chars.

That's likely the problem of that approach. Hardly anybody will want his char to be killed like that.

That's likely the problem of that approach. Hardly anybody will want his char to be killed like that.

I see your point Jack, but if you for example are in a transport, I might just ask you to give up a few of your crew members, that way I get my delicious meal and you fly away thanking God almighty you werent on the menu....

Was about to say... most ships bigger than a LF/HF have more than one person. Especially transports.

No different than those corsairs that demanded your left shoe. Or pants. Just, in this case they want human flesh.

Personally, I think the idea is awesome. Actually play the part that everyone believes is true of the Corsairs in general.
