4.76 beta will be released today

If testing goes fine, 4.76 beta will be available for download today. The beta will still have 4.75 version number, which theoretically will allow people with 4.75 client log on to server. However if you try to do this, you'll be kicked after a short while because of different ini files. So be sure to download the beta when it's available.

When beta will be available, I'll announce it once more on the server and here on forums. Don't miss the moment.

All players flying trains and transports with cruiser or battleship shields should unequip them before installing the beta. Get transport, train or gunboat shields instead. If you will not, I will manually edit your ships and remove shield without any compensation.

No this was a server crash.
There seems to be much more work than I planned so maybe the beta will not be available even today... sorry.

Igiss, could you please hint as to where LT or Gunboat shields can be found? Ive been a bit around today, and I cant seem to find any.


Edit: Never mind, I just bought a completely new LT. It didnt seem as if lvl. 9 and 10 shields were commercially available.

You mentioned that you might boost the shield strength of the freighter shields. Does this mean that, once Ive installed the new patch, my shield will have changed? Or will I have to buy a new shield?

Your existing shield will become better.

Train shield is available in Unknown, transport shield is unfortunately not available anywhere (in 4.75, in 4.76 it will be sold in one or two places).

Hitman, the server is up and i'm on. I'm going to sit while I'm doing other things and if we are both on at the same time we can help transfer eachothers shields to the trains.

Still on and still willing to help, just not sure if the old shields are still good or not. Have yet to check that.

Sweet deal, I could not get on so I started a single player on discovery, tell how it goes. Onlything that a prob u need to be like lvl30 or up to get all the new ships.
