Some reasoning is nedeed here...

So,I was in middle of a brawl near Manhattan..
Fighting a Rogue Sabre,and I got disconected,not once,but twice..
Strange thing is,guy who I was pewing managed to kill me,and said I was trying to cloack my self..
I don't even have the infernal thing..
So he poped me,no biggie there..
Just I wish I was there to see it for my self.
And another thing,when I managed to log on once again,i found my char to be empty of credits as well.
Is this some wierd case of ban or something...
I would appreciate if someone of Admins take this in his hands and explain this to me...Chat logs would be nice too,so I can see for my self how did I got killed..

Nope,i gues console poped that message while I was trying to log on once again,but I was kicked out almoust instatly...
Not sure what happened,still brain storming..

That happens usually.I have seen a lot like this happen.

This usually happens when people disconnect or F1 when there are people around,and the console puts up a message such as "X attempting to engage cloaking device".

In that case your shield will be down as in while you cloak regularly and people can shoot out your hull and destroy your ship.This is rather a weird bug which is to be reported.

Oh yes I got it now. When you disconnect of the game (willingly or not) server write something like : "attempting to cloak...". This just means you have disconnected outside a base or a planet. So this guy wasn't aware too of the meaning of this message I guess... When it happens, your ship is still in space for 4/5 seconds even if you are not connected anymore. This guy killed you at this moment I guess too. For the money, I don't know. Perhaps a bug due to disconnections ?

I'm just hoping to clear out things that I was not attempting to engage cloack and run.
That's all,nothing more to it.
I don't mind loosing credits,it's the bad reputation amongst other players that i'm affraid off...

Welcome. As far as I know, when it happens, you have to reconnect quickly and tell it to the player that was involved in the action (or players). If you can't, there is a thread somewhere. Server rule is : "1.2 Disconnecting from the server in any situation involving player interaction is not allowed. If you lose server connection, you should get back in game as soon as possible to continue the interaction. If that is not possible, post a note here." This could avoid a report.
