Normally when I join an RP server, I remain with it for quite some time, and most opf the time people have noted how I tend to be and work with it.

The rules here are easy to follow, and are heavily enforced, which is a good thing, but can lead to problems for people like myself as I have a sharp tongue and am not afraid to use it.

so instead of being a further problem I will be taking my leave, my characters are as follows

Anthony_Gray Outcast PMC - whereabouts unknown, possibly shot down in space while fleeing Liberty

Meryl_Gray and the crew of the GB Logos - Settled down back on her home planet of Primus, her crew was taken back to Liberty space where they returned to their own lives as they wouldn't be able to survive there

Evan_Gray - Took a swift retirement after being held up one too many times, also living back on Primus living out the rest of his life doing his hobbies of tinkering around with small models, and machines, still can't kick his smoking habit

Cheers mates

Sorry to see you leave.

Perhaps try again when you've taken a break?

:)

Edit: How can he be in the validating group and still post?

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

Well if you don't feel its working for you then you have probably made the right choice, this is supposed to be fun after all.

Good luck to you,

Ah reason it was in validating was because I switched the email accounts to one I never use, my AIM account

As for my decision on leaving, its in the best interest of myself, and others.

I just have too coarse of a personality to make things work here, and I would be someone constantly banned (as I am now) because of how I am as a person, I did have fun here the short time I was here, but that fun gets cut short when peoples feelings get hurt, or they wish to be a ''hero'' instead of letting bygones be bygones

needless to say, I am just a burden here, I have a sharp tongue and it doesnt bother me at all when someone uses theirs against me as I am accustomed to doing it myself as to me its not [serious business] (being a /b/tard of course) ((And yeah I just broke the first rule of the internet))

so as said, rather than asking people to bear with my asinine antics and wild, colorful character (and language ofc) I decided its best for me to leave.

From what little I know of Tenacity - and that is very little, so I speak with the full weight of my ignorance/presumption - he is a contemptable, boorish, uncouthe, opinionated, direct, blunt, and entertaining sonofabitch.

All of which are more than excellent qualities in my opinion.

So if someone like him can stick around I have no doubt you'll find a way to.

Morality, like art, means drawing a line someplace.

Thanks for seeing those as good qualities, but when people take things as [serious business] when I really would only take them with a grain of salt, that's my cue to skidoo. It ruins the fun of being a part of the community when someone takes offense to things that you normally don't have people take offense to, and despite being as hard as I am, I still don't like it, kinda takes the fun out of it, especially when it leads to administrative action, then everyone's day is ruined.

in before during and after /ragequit

but I don't want to make it seem like that, so I'm just taking my leave, whats one problematic member to several good ones, in the end here I don't make that much an impact

/rant

that an an extended discussion with another member over X-fire gave me and the person in question the premise that things here a tad bit too harsh in punishments, and attitudes against certain things are a bit off, and with little to know way of defending oneself from said above punishments and some of which are not given in equal (Like some people get 7 days and some get 14 days for the same offense, or leaving a player with an unarmed ship and in some cases no money whatsoever(this makes things hard or near impossible in terms of regaining lost time, not everyone here has a trader or has that kind of patience)) then again that's how these things run, they are in essence a loose dictatorship, and all decisions are final, no amount of whining, negotiation, or the like will get you anywhere, same with respect, which is a good thing but a bad thing at the same time. That and some things and ways I've interpreted some of the wording in sanctions to be rather in poor taste, sure someone broke a rule, but its not right to rub it in someones face and humiliate them, we are all human after all. but that's my two cents, no offenses intended.

and before I try to make myself seem like a victim here, my case was handled professionally, but was executed not in due time but days afterward. but the admins are busy people, that's understandable.

/end rant

with that I take my leave, so ciao

Well, in my opinion there`s something wrong with RP system, that does not allow people with colorful personality to play such characters. Can`t You all imagine a pirate with a sharp tongue? C`mon...

I might follow Your step, Tony, see Ya.

I though it was ok to use words like Frak wich they use on BSG all the time but is not a real curse word. That way you can still have a colorful character but not really cuss. If that is not allowed then yeah it kind of stunts the RP of being a vicious uncouth person.

But as others have said if you are not having fun then its not worth it.
