Proposal For Bretonian Battlecruiser

This is my idea for a Bretonian Battlecruiser. It would be an additional capital ship to help bolster the Bretonian fleet. This is as far as I can take the model as I do not have the software or hardware to add the needed textures and other improvements.
Criticism is welcome.

Looks sweet! I think this could be a great contender and looks a lot better than the destroyer

Many proposal for Bretonia obtaining a Battlecruiser has been turn down from either the community or Devs. Reasons: not to sure why. However, Bretonia is currently manufacturing its first Carriers.

Needless to say, sorry that i burst your bubble - but keep working on it. The model has a good kick design - don't stop.

Yeah I did it in Sketch Up. As good a program as it is, it is totally unsuited to designing game models. Adding more details will take hours to do.

I like the general design of it. I would be interested to hear what you were thinking in terms of weapons placements, total armaments, etc.

I'm not sure why either. In RP, I would think it actually makes more sense. With the defeat at Leeds, they have lost their biggest source of materials. You'd think it would now be tougher to build Battleships or this new Carrier as a result and a need for smaller cheaper craft would surface.

In any case, great work on the design. Hope to see it developed further.

I doubt it'll go through. Rheinland had a BC design that was completely fleshed out and ready for addition into the mod, but was blocked because there were "too many ships" in the mod already to allow for it.

If it does work out, I'll take five.

This does look nice, fits very well with our current lines.

(These are my own thoughts below, and not the official opinion of the BAF|, please bear that in mind whilst reading through my opinions here)

Bretonia, RP wise, does not need a BattleCruiser. As some have already said, we have lost a major source of resources, capital ships are not things we need. Currently, our best bet is using bomber wings against the Gallics, as they are cheap to produce and easy to maintain.

You may at this point be asking why the hell we are building a carrier then, the idea being that it serves as a forward command platform, which we use to launch bomber and fighter wings from whilst it stays away from the fight. The idea being, RP wise, we try to move away from a capital ship dependency whilst we don't have the supplies and materials.

That said however, no reason you can't keep hold of this and present it after the war, and these are only my opinions from an initial look. I will edit this when I have spoken with the rest of the admiralty to reflect an official position on this.
