Blizzard here, hailing from tripoli station; Hs Communication centre, just requesting the creation of an unoffical faction. We are currently eanring the funds to make this offical.



The Hidden SHades

The Hidden Shades (Hs) Are know as the Eclipse as respresented through their coat of arms (A flare) . They were formed by a man of the name: Captain John Rolands. Rolands Decided that in order for the Corsair way of life to become forfilling and wonderful, the
Universe must be divided into: Those that support the corsairs and those that don't.
With this He could build on a corsair empire. He did not wish to get recruits from generations
of corsair, but instead leave arms wide open to those that are fit for the challenge.

Rolands Found the best way to recruit was send out scouts to roam Sirus in search of worthy members. If Piolts where offered the chance of a lifetime and accepted they would be put to the test. Tests of loyalty, Trust, dedication and the piolting ability to take down a fleet of bounty hunters. But if a piolt was given the offer and refused or he failed to pass the four test he must be assignated,for he may ruin the way of the Hidden Shade forever.

Rolands method was quite differnet to many other Corsair societies. Instead of payment Roland would
present his new members with a house, a rank and a ship according to his place within the Hs. The higher the
rank within the guild, the larger the ship. With different Ranks being given to specific ships the guild work very effectivly and achieved
what they set out to do. Unlike other Corsair factions every part of the guild is taken into account. Ranks
can range from merceneries to traders, all vital parts to our way of life

Still keeping 98% of Rolands tradions the Hs has continued to function,
but by two new leaders:

Today the Hiden Shades focus on new technology, to build an empire of well fitted space crafts. Allien technology is in prime use.
Once the power can be harnesed and controled it can deliever a powerful punch. So the Hidden Shades spend, lot of time on scienetific
expeditions. Searching for nomad vessels to anilize. The only way a nomad can be completely removed form it's ship is via destruction.
The destruction of the nomad infestation keeps the locals happy, building a positive influence in the commnity.

The Hs gathering point is bassed on Tripoli Station (Omicron Gamma) in the HS*HQ, which at the current time is being moved. The HQ has
been fitted out with the latested in 'Analises. de'Vos' technology. This includes Laboratory, private hanger and an armoury; containing
modified allien weapons.

(Blueprints are yet to be issued)

For an unofficial faction you don't need a post, just create the characters in game and RP with them and get the server used to what your trying to accomplish as a faction. Then when you have 5 members and 500million credits, post in the creation resquest with a full shiplist, diplomacy etc.

I don't see anything unique in your proposal, compared to other Corsair groups.
What is your goal? What is your area of operations?

This is ok in an OORP way, but not in RP one.
You can't find a Bretonian and tell 'im "Hey, wanna be a 'Sair?".
Corsairs are a nation, a bit different then the Outcasts.

Hidden Shade. What is behind it's name? What is the RP reason for this name?
Does it have a meaning besides 'coolness'?

i have taken his suggestions and as soon as I read the reply I started working on it. I thought that I should post the site which i forgot to post in the original.

But yes i have listened to what he said and I have begun correcting the problems.

I am truely sorry this is the first time i have ever created a faction,but i will fix the problems.

Goals: The hidden shades wish to flush out trade blockads throughout sirus (mainly around the corsair systems). Although the shades are not directely hostile with the LN, the LN have been causing problems lately Their Alaska blockads put a halt to incoming rations)

They have attacked our trade runs and in turn slowed down the the economy. The shades wish to put a stop to this.

Direct orders: Do not attack traders bringing food rations and other valuable supplies to Crete or any other planets or stations near corsair terrritory. (exception: any republic shipping can be shot on site, they have taken adventage of us and are expanding at a rapid rate)


The Shades will aslo step up patrol on tripoli station which has recently been under attack.

for one it has ranks
