LR/DSE Event: Pay the man

Pay the man.

Story:

• Lord Moka has been busy reorganizing his Rogues and one thing that's passed him by until now, taxes, has been largely exploited by Deep Space Engineering.
  
  The owners of Platinum Incorporated have not paid their protection money for a good period of time and little to no contact has been made with them to rectify this lack of respect to the Rogues. Time to go collect!
  

Guts of it:

• Deep Space Engineering base, Platinum Incorporated in Alberta, is a core 4 base and no weapons platforms. This allows an opportunity for a lone Rogue dreadnaught with an escort to siege the base and damage it until a certain level to gain victory on intimidating Deep Space Engineering to pay their protection tax again. Deep Space Engineering pilots are to destroy the Dreadnaught before base sustains damage limit.
  
  If the Rogues win, taxes are paid out by Deep Space Engineering to the Rogues which will be divided up and given to the Rogue team members.
  If Deep Space Engineering wins, taxes are exempt until the next event.
  

Rules:

• 1. This event is limited to members of factions

  2. Dreadnaught needs to damage base 5% base damage to win.
  Dreadnaught will have 1 repair ship support. Once repair ship is empty or dead then it can not refill and join back in.
  
  3. Each side can have up too 10 players who may choose their own ship. Dreadnaught/Repairship is not counted in this.
  
  4. Deep Space Engineering security ships must be docked on Camrose.
  Rogue assailants must be docked on Ft McMurray.
  
  5. No ramming of Dreadnaught.
  
  6. When you die, you can reload and join back in. Any body in particular is carving people up, you'll be asked to stand back to allow others to participate more freely.
  
  7. Respect the rules, respect the Admin watching over it, don't be a jerk. (Or you will be sent somewhere unpleasant at the admins discretion.)
  
  8. No indies may partake, if you're seriously interested in joining in then contact me on skype.
  
  9. You may switch between teams if it is predetermined with me before the match is fixed to start.
  
  10. A player may use two or more different ships.
  
  11. The tax is usually a mirror of Liberty Government standard fare for bases of its calibre, however due to the disrespect Deep Space Engineering have shown, the fee has doubled this month. Makes prize money $160,000,000.

If you paid more attention to RP going around Sirius, you would have seen:

Today former Platinum Incorporated acting-CEO Floyd. G. Murphy sold the controlling shares in the raw ore mining company to Doe Industries for a whopping $15,000,000,000 Sirian Credits. This leaves Doe Industries with a continued monopoly on raw ore operations within Liberty and in a position to improve national exports of the materials with little extra operational costs.

In the amicable merger, Doe Industries now own and operate Rutherford Station and Platinum Incorporated mining facilities in the Alberta system as well as their mobile mining refinery, Platinum|-Maple.Leaf, a Barge class variant 2.

It is expected the sale will take days to complete and with other pressing projects all around Liberty and Sirius, we can expect to see a rise in commercial activity in the area around the Alberta system.
