Moving through Bretonia's space, but also through the dangerous and vast voids of the Omegas and Taus with impunity, the Merchant Navy stands as the proud and noble continuation of its former Sol counterpart, serving the Kingdom of Bretonia by bringing in materials needed to rebuild the Great House after decades of warfare.

Much more flexible than the mainstay Royal Bretonia Navy and with far greater powers, going as far as having the ability to negotiate temporary agreements with partners and allies alike, the Merchant Navy has grown, over the course of the Gallic War and the subsequent years, to be a professional and constantly-adapting force in face of the dangers of Dublin and beyond. With the Kingdom's best forces concentrated on one goal, liberating Dublin, the Merchant Navy paves the way for a resurgent Bretonia; a Bretonia that will wrestle its closeness with the Great Houses to bring about much greater and closer cooperation. Bretonian Armed Forces - ID & IFF

Commanding Officer:

The Officer put in charge of keeping the Merchant Navy shipping the cargo. They deal with paper work and forward the progress and reports onto the Bretonian Armed Forces Admiralty Board. This Officer has been elected for a long time by the Admiralty Board, ranking as an officer in active duty of the rank Admiral/Commodore, untill the need arouse to get things done fast, due to several people MIA.

Executive Officer:

The ffficer put in charge of keeping the Merchant Navy working around the hour. They deal with paperwork and forward the progress and reports onto the Bretonian Armed Forces Admiralty Board. Owing in part to the bloody lessons of the Gallic War, the Board has taken it upon itself to name the officers assigned to this posting from amongst the cadre of Commodores or Admirals.

Current MN Executive Officer: Commodore Ryan O'Dukes

Division Commander:

The Commanding Officer's "right hand man", this officer deals with paperwork and agreements that the Commanding Officer hasn't done or cannot personally oversee. He also makes suggestions and advises the Commanding Officer when a decision needs making and how.

Senior Flight Officer:

Senior Flight Officers are the veteran transport pilots and normally help in leading convoys. They additionally have the option to request equipment off lend-and-lease contracts.

Flight Officer:

Flight Officers are the middle ground between Deckmen and Senior Flight Officers, possessing more experience than the former but much less than the latter. In this posting, they help form the "base" upon which the Merchant Navy is built.
