I have been reading through quite a few interesting threads and notice that all, or nearly all, are references to online gaming.

Am i in the correct forum as I do not play online, nor do I intend too.

This forum is for Discovery Freelancer Conquest its a mod that hosts both single and multi player, there is no main storyline for the game so most people turn to the multiplayer for this mod, since this is run mainly on Discovery Freelancer 24/7 server, this does require you to play online for the full experience, so yes you are currently probably in the wrong game if you intend not to play online, however this mod does have a large player base which might make it a fun game/mod to try if you want to try something online.

Also if you do play only the single player, then you are looking for the wiki which may be found in the index tab of this forum, otherwise this is mainly a multiplayer forum for a multiplayer game.

Have you played the story mode? Any discovery mod after 4.84 disables it, so it seems like itd be pretty boring to play offline in current disco.

And even if you want to play solo, you should still play online using LAN, that way you still get the many server commands (particularly the /stuck command)

Discovery isn't really a mod for single player, as said it's a Multiplayer mod (as of late). If you're looking for a game with story mode and no multiplayer, discovery is not for you. But. I was the same with you, before i started. I was told to play online and meet a few other people and i started to love playing online. Try playing Discovery online for a week or so and see what you think.
