Currently conduct regarding Zones of Influence is that outside of it free movement is allowed, combat is only in self defense. So basically you can trade Sirius-wide, RP Sirius-wide, even have your pew Sirius-wide as long as you make sure you don't shoot first out of your ZoI, rather provoke others to initiate combat.
So if anything, what do ZoIs restrict? Do they mean anything at all? What is the point of having them?
Edit: Managed to enlighten myself shortly after posting this thread: you can't pirate outside of your ZoI... which is not much anyways, since piracy is kinda dead lately, sooo... anything else?
ZOI can come in handy for capital ship restriction in other house spaces. And due to ZoI restrictions, the house police and military cannot command or order anyone i.e, exercise their authority over players in other houses.
Criminals are pretty much free in terms of ZoI since, basically they are criminals in their house space, and pretty much in other house space. (most of the times) They can trade/smuggle in and out of their ZoI pretty freely without having inRP repercursions
If one thing that ZoI does is upkeeping some of the house laws, having inRP consequences if looked upon, and to some extent involves punishing those who abuse ZoI freedom/restrictions....as in my view.
Why am I still posting with that account, I wonder. Anyway. You need to note, that most people, who have been flying around in their LABCs and a Navy ID have landed in bastille. So obviously you will be under the spyglass if you do this. You need to be VERY careful.

Yeah, well, I wonder what they were doing there. What are they supposed to do there at all?
To be honest, they just want to be part of interactions. It's no surprise that Liberty is being visited by foreign characters. It doesn't make sense, but it's still counts for activity.
