I have a Desktop PC, and I do everything on it. All my models, all of my textures, all of my files. And it black screened on me for no reason this morning. Getting concerned, but I have to lave for a couple days and have no time to fix it. Would love to start gathering advice on what to do if anyone has suggestions. I've tried the basics Starting in Safemode, starting with command prompt.
It all boots up, I see the windows logo, and then it goes black, the keyboard and mouse drivers all load, but I cannot do anything else. No Ctrl Alt Delete, no command prompt.
I am running windows 7, with an AMD6300 processor, and an ASUS M5A97 MOBO
Sounds like your graphics card could be crashing on startup. Check to make sure your GPU fan is working and free of dust. An overheating graphics card often produces the result you have described.
I hope not, its a brand new graphics card. I've also heard it could be my SSHD. the Solid State portion of it. All this stuff is new though, so I really hope that isn't true.
