This vessel was seen by our pilots in Sigma 13 and Rheinland space. It fits no known configuration for any Rheinland warships we have on record and equips Nomad weaponry which Rheinland has banned. in addition, the vessel seen also is a restricted Rheinland class warship not available for sale to the public.

It carries an unknown iff tag: ALC

In light of the recent Wild incursions in Sigma 13 near Yanagi and the New Berlin jump hole, we are requesting information regarding this vessel.

Is it a renegade ship stolen from the Rheinland inventory? A ship who's crew was infected and has become Wild? What is "ALC"? Is this vessel a known threat and how should it be treated when encountered?

Any information is appreciated.

Be advised Junkers, the battleship [ALC]Prometheus (along with the others sharing it's name) is classified by das Forschung Abteilung as alien infested and irrecoverable. These scans of it's weaponry provide further evidence. Approach with extreme caution and avoid if possible to prevent further contamination. We will be hunting the Wilde ship ourselves.

Thank you for the response. We have seen Wild activity expand from being only 2-5 Wild fighters near the New Berlin jump hole to as many as four scorpion gunboats with twelve accompanying wrath fighters. One of our own gunboats was destroyed in a single pass by a Wild formation--and that while at full hulls and shields. The vessel "Prometheus" and all [ALC] tagged ships will be treated as hostile by us and we will reasonably coordinate with local Rheinland authorities should they attack. We have limited resources but are concentrating to defend Yanagi. While we cannot consider retaining them, the annoying bounty hunter group, "DW" seems to have the capacity to damage this infected vessel. Perhaps Rheinland might retain them on contract to do so.

It is rather disheartening to see greater numbers of these strange ships showing up at the doorsteps of our bases. I hope they might be kept back so we can continue to do business. My crew and I will surely keep an eye out.

This ship is not in the Rhienland Military Registry. No Military vessel is ever to leave Rheinland sovereignty without express permission from command, this means entering Sigma-13. This ship has none, combined with his weapons it is highly likely that this ALC ship is rogue, and in fact, a member of the Wilde. When we come across this ship, our vessels will interrogate the captain, and if deemed infested, we will destroy this ship without prejudice.

Ohoy.. Those ALC guys arent Wild.. Theyre to unorganised and plus.. They seam more stupid then many other pilots out there, id figure that theyve retrofitted a old Rheinland Battleship with Nomad Technology. Seen similar things before. Like a Rogue Gunboat with nomad technology on it amongst other things..
Plus that ive seen ALC vessels in transport ships... Amusingly with the same name Prometheus... -Chuckles-

No this is probably a case of some strange research gone terribly wrong.. But still, the ALC vessels are to be considered dangerous and extremly annoying -sighes-
