Who really owns Freeport 4 in Magellan?

Last couple of updates. Also I wish to know how LN got that base. I am thinking about two possiblities. Official RP and pew event I missed or it was simply put into LN hands without asking anyone. Which one?

I am also thinking about possible "retake event" Is it possible to make an event to take the Freeport? I mean GRN vs LN, BAF, C, KE, (Every possible defenders) And what is required for event. It must be approved by both sides I know.. But anything else?

Yeah, it's really just a serverside issue, since they can't change the IFF of the station in the mods itself, since other servers use Discovery too. Basically one of them just needs to remember to switch the IFF every time there's an update.

Also, the whole point of the event which happened, was to prevent the GRN takeover of the station, and since the GRN, as far as I know, intend to push into Newcastle first, taking a hard to defend station in Magellan would be a bad idea for them.

I was responsible for the rp around FP4 that led to a (temporary) change of ID/IFF of the base.

You can find all the roleplay by searching for "[Fall of Freeport 4]".

To sum it up:

IMG was forced into submission by GRN invasion.
GRN holds IMG assets hostage (e.g. Java, Tau 23).
When GRN sent ships into Magellan, IMG feared that GRN could use Freeport 4 as a key staging base against Liberty. That would ruin the IMG-Liberty rep.

Therefore the IMG entered secret negotiations with Liberty, and arranged a secret plot in which LN took the Freeport with a surprise attack. It was credible enough, and backed up by events.

Just look for the roleplay under the stated tag.

And, just to make it clear, as you seem to be very interested in the topic of "real estate change": There is an oorp agreement behind it, all sides involved agreed on the changes and only therefore it was possible.
