First, allow me to introduce myself. I am Capitaine Maurice Cornett, commanding officer of the 112th Fighter Squadron. I was forwarded your contact details by Marechal Emile Evreux after I alerted him to a distressing lack of manpower within my unit. The Marechal is of the opinion that the revival of an old project of yours may be able to offer a solution to this problem where he, himself, cannot.

I must admit to being surprised by this transmission, if I'm interpreting it correctly. The project you are alluding to has indeed been defunct for a number of years now. Having started as a collaborative effort between the Gallic Metal Service and Solar Engineering in an attempt to increase the yield of ore exhumed from the Service's numerous operations across the Kingdom and its territories, it was such a success that my team at Calais moved in to collect their files, and seek more militaristic applications for the technology. However, after only preliminary testing, it was determined that upscaling the project's complexity and production scale on such a level might not have been entirely feasible, and it was shelved in favour of more promising endeavours.
With that said, if the Maréchal has commissioned it, I can begin looking into the resurrection of that division immediately. Personally, I never shared the concerns of the rest of the team - in fact, with recent advances in 'wetware' technology, such as a new generation of bio-neural processing units, and some of those rather intriguing multiplexor designs from our Kusarian neighbours, it may be more possible than ever before to engineer a solution for you and the 112th. I will begin setting things in motion right away.

Unfortunately, your transmission has brought me no closer to knowing precisely what this project entails. But no matter. My Lynx is being prepared for launch from the Oubli at this very moment. I will be arriving at Calais to personally oversee this project shortly.
I presume that, by the time of my arrival, you will be more than ready to present to me the intricacies of this project.
