It has been several days since The Lane Hackers utilized the superbomber in Liberty for the first time. After initial astonishing success of the operation Devil's Decimator things were not looking as good as expected. Incredibly strong and unique energy signature of the powercore was practically making it impossible to hide the ship and use standard Lane Hacker operational methods. Nearly every naval officer and mercenary in Liberty was after the superbomber and each time it was harder to break off and escape the pursuit. In one of such ambushes the Lane Hackers had to sacrifice lives of several Liberty Rogues in order to buy enough time for the superbomber to escape. Inside Mactan Headquarters Lane Hacker professor was discussing the matter with her trusted accomplice.

- How close it was?
- Too close. It is only a matter of time before they catch us, Professor.
- I know.
- And this is least of our concerns.
- The powercore?
- Mr Drake and Mr Carnifex completed analyzing data gathered during first reassembling. Those seven singularity engines are not stable. The powercore produces more energy than the ship can ever use. Once a...
- ...a critical mass is achieved gravity stabilizers will get desynchronized and a chain reaction will create a supernova or a black hole, possibly destroying entire star system. Ageira had the same problem. How long before it happens?
- Week, possibly two. It's impossible to predict accurately.

Professor stood up and started walking inside the command chamber. Suddenly she stopped and smiled when a spark signifying an extremely mischievous idea appeared in her eyes.

- Mr Scorpius, please prepare a secure channel to Flottillenadmiral Kai Siegfried.
- ...what?

- Guten Abend, Frau Hunter. It's been too long. How are things in Liberty?
- Guten Abend, Herr Siegfried. Indeed it was. But I am sure that you are as well informed as I am, if not better.

They both laughed cordially for a moment, before the leader of das Büro der Marineintelligenz changed his tone.

- In my line of work we always look for alternative sources of information. For instance, recently I heard a crazy rumor about a certain bomber decimating entire Liberty fleets in a matter of minutes, supposedly flown by a Lane Hacker. Would you believe that?
- It's not a rumor. And we are handing over the superbomber to the Rheinwehr.

Admiral couldn't hide his astonishment but he recovered very quickly. After all he was a professional spy.

- And why would The Lane Hackers want to do such a thing?
- The superbomber is trapped in New York and everyone in Liberty is looking for it. It is only a matter of time before it falls into Teerin's hands. I think we wouldn't want that to happen, would we?
- Forgive my bluntness, but what, besides making Admiral Teerin unhappy, there is in it for you? Obviously, you're not giving it to us out of your good heart.
- Rheinland will neither reproduce it nor win the war with it, but certainly a number of wreckages belonging to Liberty Navy will rise in border systems. Liberty Navy is the backbone of the government and we want to see it weakened. Rheinland will deliver it with the superbomber better than we could ever imagine to accomplish ourselves.
- This is almost too good to be true. What is the catch?
- Even if there is one, you have too much to gain to walk away from such an opportunity, Herr Siegfried. So let us get past these formalities and discuss the details of the extraction...

Scenario

---

The Lane Hackers can no longer protect Garrett's Thor from preying hands of the Liberty Navy and decided to hand it over to Rheinland Military instead, using BDM as their proxy. However, all exits from New York are guarded. Will Rheinland Military be able to break through Liberty Navy blockade and ensure safe extraction of Garrett's Thor to Rheinalnd?

• The event will consist of 3 stages, each being a battle at a certain location.
  
• Each stage is won when all opposing forces are destroyed.
  
• Each player killed in one stage can participate in the second.
  
• In order to ensure intensity of fights no nanobots sharing is allowed.
  
• Leaving the combat zone is equal to death and ship cannot return to the same stage of event.
  
• All ship classes are allowed.
  
• Garrett's Thor will not take part in the fights and coordinate the event.

Stage 1
The Liberty Forces have set up a blockade at Texas gate in New York. The Rheinland Forces will arrive from Texas and try to make a clear path for Thor to leave the system. If Rheinland forces manage to prevail the event proceeds to Stage 2A. If Liberty Forces manage to hold off the enemy, the event proceeds to Stage 2B.

Stage 2A
The Liberty Forces managed to recover from the sudden attack and rallied their quick reaction forces at the Hudson gate in Texas. If Rheinland once again manages to win this battle the event proceeds to Stage 3A. If Liberty is successful then the next stage is 3B.

Stage 2B
After failure of initial attack The Rheinland forces try a different approach. They try to punch through California gate in New York, a least expected destination. Upon noticing it, The Liberty Forces attack Rheinland fortified position at the gate. If Rheinland Forces win this battle the event proceeds to Stage 3A. If Liberty is successful then the next stage is 3B.

Stage 3A
With the last desperate attempt the Liberty Forces try to intercept Rheinland fleet in Hudson near Hamburg jumphole. However, it is already too late as Garrett's Thor used this distraction to escape through Bering. Give those Rheinlanders hell, Liberty and make them pay for the deceit!

Stage 3B
Desperate to cause some distraction Rheinland Forces besiege Houston. Now Liberty Forces have to defend the civilians at all costs. Garrett's Thor uses this opportunity to silently leave Liberty space and let the Rheinlanders die for their country.

Operation report

Liberty forces were aware of Rheinland planned attack and prepared a defense of Texas gate in New York. However, even use of cloaked carriers and battleships did not tip the scale of battle into 5th Liberty Navy Fleet favor. Slowly, Rheinlanders and their mercenaries gained the upper-hand after most of capital ships on both sides were destroyed, Admiral Jack O'Neil ordered retreat and regrouping, which allowed Rheinland Forces led by Admiral Daniela Winter to fortify position at Hudson Jumpgate in Texas and let the superbomber escape New York. In the meantime Liberty Navy mounted a quick reaction force at Planet Houston and thanks to very cunning use of cloaked heavy hitters they managed to overrun Rheinland forces at the gate, while Faze mercenaries wiped out remaining Rheinland bombers. Thor was still trapped in Texas, so Admiral Daniela Winter decided to regroup remaining forces in Bering and storm Texas again. This time weakened Liberty Navy forces, suffering from temporary cloak malfunction could not resist Rheinland onslaught. One by one all Liberty capital ships were destroyed and Rheinland forces remained in control of the gate for long enough to allow the superbomber reach Freeport 2. From there the superbomber was escorted to New Berlin. After updating transponder codes through secret jumphole the ship was transported to secure location.

I hope this won't lead to destruction of some Rheinland system. Rheinland was in bad situation in vanila since the 80 years war. Now it is even more raped by war with liberty and Munich disaster. Please do not continue destroying Rheinland with this OP ooRP ship... I told Garrett Jax my opinion about it and I won't post it here.

I hope this won't lead to destruction of some Rheinland system. Rheinland was in bad situation in vanila since the 80 years war. Now it is even more raped by war with liberty and Munich disaster.
