Reverse view bug

Greetings , I have noticed somewhat unusual and perhaps less important bug , but that doesn't make it any less annoying....


I tend to mine asteroids to make money and the way I mine , is to hold V (reverse view) and spin the ship while mining , but after you hold V for a while the camera becomes locked for a while....sometimes it even takes it over 15 seconds to reset , after I have stopped holding V.

The only way to reset it before it "unlocks" is to enter and exit turret mode , but then I have to wait the same amount of time before I can use V again...

Chat box? I don't use chat while mining

Even if you open the chat box to /ping or /time etc, if you are holding the V key, and then hit Enter while its held, it will continue to execute that command. Even after you enter what you're going to say / type. Hit that same key again afterwards and its should go back to normal.

Ok look....I don't use chat while mining.... I was alone in the system.... I didn't touch the ENTER

The only buttons I pressed were , LMB , RMB and V

In which case I would advice reinstalling Freelancer, if that doesn't help then perhaps invest in a new keyboard because I attempted mining like this earlier today (which is a really bad way to mine mind you, cockpit mode is much better) and I did not notice any issue such as the one that you appear to be experiencing.

Nah it's not worth reinstalling and the keyboard works just fine.....and btw.... this type of mining is much faster than cockpit mode believe me , but then it's a matter of opinion
