Miners/Traders Skype chat?

I was wondering if there was a Skype chat for miners and traders so that they can meet up and arrange some mining in game. I remember there used to be one of these Skype chats and it worked quite well. Well at least it was better than going through the player list and trying to guess who looks like a trader and hope that they want to buy ore from myself.

So yeah, does one exist? If not would anyone be interested in joining one that I create?

You can usually ask in one of the General chats.

You talking about the faction general chats? don't you like have to be in the official faction in most cases to even be in that chat?

Edit: In other words, won't there be a lot of people not in these Skype chats, such as indy miners/haulers?

Cool, if a few other people like the idea then I'll make one, unless there is already one tucked away somewhere that I haven't heard about.

You can find a miner or two in game. Have their skype (if they give it to you, which, mostly they will) and contact them whenever you wish to mine/trade. Worked pretty well for me. A week in game around the mining spots will find you a good number of people willing to do that along with other people's help on a regular basis.

A group seems like a good idea, but I am pretty sure that, the ones in the group will end up never willing to mine/ never willing to involve anything related to the group's activities. And there is this problem of group spamming, wherein the members just talk random stuff and things. Though, if you are interested, hit up a few official faction members and be added to their groups. Some factions accept indys in their skype chats I guess (not sure).

I suppose if I asked nicely I could get into the official factions chat groups, but that still leaves loads of Indy transports/miners that won't be there (and lets face it, there are a lot more indys online then official factions at most times) and it still means I would have to ask in about 5 different chats if I'm looking for a miner/hauler.

That and I doubt that most factions would appreciate some indy miner spamming in their chats "would anyone like me to mine for them?".

You don't need to be in an official faction to be in the House General Chats. YOu just need to find someone to add you to them.
