Cant access the server

Im having trouble accessing the server. Freelancer works fine, yet every time i try to connect to the server, it acts like it is going to connect, but just goes back to the server screen. It does it to other servers too. I fresh installed with discovery mod but it still does it... Im so confused

Safe assumption is that you've restarted the game, ya?

I had the same issue and a simple restart of Disco was all I had to do..

This problem persist for days, haven't been able to login after a character for more than 2 seconds before I get auto disconnects.

Can anyone suggest any clue before I reinstall my fresh installation again.

Internet connection? Most probably..if its shows loading..then suddenly the taking time screen..its INTERNET connection..

To bright up my scenario:
Selecting my character.
Loging in
log in successful and I am ingame in the landing pad
2 seconds later I get auto disconnect saying connection lost

The problem exists not only on the RP server.
Since I am using this new account: currently character on RP:

I can't see anything from our side of things. I suggest going through with that fresh install.

Bad lag wouldn't cause this, but a big packet loss ratio would.

Go on http://www.pingtest.net/ run a test on the Frankfurt Germany server (click on the blue pyramid in Germany) then post your results. You'll need Java for the packet loss test.

This isn't 100% accurate as it's not going to ping the game server but it will be close enough. I'm trying to keep it simple for you.
