Forum server maintenance

We're working on the web server, so expect slowness and/or temporary downtime over the next 1-2 days as we sort it out, on both the forum and the wiki. We'll try to minimise impact so you shouldn't find it too problematic however.

Cheers for patience.

Edit: Your posts from this point on 'will' be lost when we re-upload the forum database. Please try to refrain from doing any large RP posts, unless you have backups of them beforehand.

We'll announce when this process is completed.

EDIT: The hard part of forum maintenance should be finished for good now. Post in this thread if you find any issues though. Feel free to continue posting like you normally do, data will not be lost from this point onward. We're still working out the other problems, although we hope to have that finished soon.

All threads related to the new forum appearance and changes will be closed due to its nature of non-constructive posts. If you have any ideas/opinions on things that are not already being fixed/changed, post them here and not elsewhere until the final theme will be finished.

Meanwhile, please remain patient until the update is over.

Give this a read if you want to use the previous BBCode Editor instead of WYSIWYG.

The site altogether looks too wide on my monitor. It could be my resolution which is not a wide resolution or it could be the site's size. I have to scrool at the bottom of the page left and right to see the left and right columns.

It's not a huge problem but I 'm just pointing this out.

Latest activity will now send you the last post of the thread instead of the first.

New Post/New Thread will always be in source mode now, no matter if you set the option or not. It's still possible to toggle to WYSIWYG but I'm considering removing it.

This might currently be in the "To do" list, but the Players online list doesn't have the ability to sort the names and systems alphabetically like we used to be able to do. kind of annoying when your trying to see who's in what system.

Safe flying and watch your six.
