Within the last four weeks we made great efforts to win the siege against Planet Harris and to finally break the resistance of the last few Bretonian forces out in Tau-31.
Although the last months were some very successful months for our forces, because we could reduce our losses to a minimum and increase the numbers of shot hostile
Bretonian ships rapidly, the last few days disconcert me.
Since about 12 hours there wasnt any communication signal from KNF-Patrol T31-KW2.
The patrol should have been back for three hours now. I worry they got lost,
it seems like the Bretonians are planning something to break our siege or anyway to demoralize our troops.
But they underestimate the bravery and the high moral of the Emperors warriors.
Nevertheless we have to do something against the Bretonian last despaired
attempts to break our siege and also against these cowardly attacks against our light patrols.

Four squadrons? when we reached the mine field, we flew into it, we thought it wouldnt be a problem to hunt them down in there but when we flew in it
they came out of nowhere! I took a look at my radar and there was nothing

After 40 minutes, when we reached C5 I heard the alert of my radar, and there they were, we couldnt hardly react, about fifteen fighters appeared on my radar and opened fire immediately
we could take out six, but right at the beginning I saw Murakamis Dragon exploding after he was hit by an missile. On my left I saw Suioko how he took out two of them until he got hit and got out of my sight.
I got hit by some shots of a Templar too,
my systems collapsed which made me disappear from their radar I guess Tokimasa moaned when the medic started to sew a large wound on his knee.
Fifteen fully equipped Templar here in Tau-31? I thought they were running out of pilots and equipmentseems like there were more ships remaining after that attack on Holman, than we supposed.
Sensei, if thats true, and our assumptions were wrong, we dont know what theyve left there aside from these Fighters The Colonel, that followed him from the bridge to deck 6 said.
We really need to take those Bretonian cowards out, with one fast hard strike, after we broached the mine field

Yūryaku left the infirmary, thinking of a solution for the new, dangerous situation.
Immediately he established a secure communication channel from his office to the KNF High Command at Hiroshima. After 2 hours the door to his office opened.
Commander, what is the high commands opinion of this situation? The Colonel asked.
Their opinion? Their opinion is that we need support out here, the High Command suggest to send a destroyer, they said we have to hold up the siege at any cost.
The problem is, they dont have a whole crew left for a new one
They dont? What about setting up a crew by our own? We could reduce the Nagasakis crew and disband a fighter squadron
Thats what they suggested too. But who could command such a big ship? Most of the officers are really needed here
What about this young pilot, he is a lieutenant already and as far as I now he served on a gunboat alreadyand he showed outstanding brave and skills getting that piece of crap back to the Nagasaki and get out alive.
May be your idea isnt as bad as it sounds, well try it. Tell that boy that he is a Destroyer-Commander as from now.

The Colonel left and made his way to the new Destroyer-Commander on deck 6.
Four weeks later, after Tokimasas injuries were cured he travelled to Honshu to the Yukawa Shipyard which just finished his new ship.
After the great progress in the War against Bretonia, the Kashiwa, that fought in the first lines for months, is now send to the dry-docks of Yokohama-Shipyard to get repaired, restocked and improved with the newest military devices so serve the Emperor even better in the future.
It will be replaced by a Gunboat, which mainly will do patrol tasks.
