[DONE TY |SEE FOR FIX] Devs/Anyone please help me. My textures and effects are broken

I'm bad at computers... I know I did the instal correctly (i think) because i can PLAY the game... but what happened and how can I fix it?

It looks like a file might have failed to copy over somewhere. It might just be a simple missing texture, if that is the case, someone can find it and send over the individual file on skype. How many textures and effects are bugged for you? Most of them or just some?

EDIT: Whoops, just saw the last screen... yeah that isn't good looking.

In your data folder, check the sizes of the FX and Ships folders. Each should be 11.1 MB and 154 MB respectively
If they are smaller you are definitely missing a few files. If not, whatever files that tell the game to access certain textures are not working properly

reinstalled the 4.88 over again.... is that what you mean? i did that.

SHIPS: 38.3 MB

the ships that i KNOW are textured atm are: the cupholder bomber liberty one, the salvager, the sunburst, the saber, the stunga (wasapu) and... thats what I know for now.

Make sure you dock, set your "Texture Detail" to max, and undock. I was able to replicate and fix the issue by turning that setting down and back up.
