Welcome!

So I thought to share what I do sometimes to recudce my mighty ping, Sometimes these tricks works and sometime not, Let's get on Bascis first

A: Rebooting your modem/router
Try to rebooting your modem, In order to do that first you need to know your default gateway Ip, For Windows 7 , We will run cmd to get Default Gateway Ip

Step 1: Click on start button
Step 2: type "cmd" in search box and hit enter, A black window will appear.
Step 3: Copy past this code and hit enter,
Code:
ipconfig /all

Step 4: You have to find Default Gateway *****
Step 5: Enter Default Gateway Ip in your browser web address box, It will ask you for a username and password.
Step 6: Check back of your modem for Username and password
Step 7: After entering username and password a panel of modem settings will appear
Step 8: Click on Management Tab and then Reboot, After clicking Reboot tab, Click on reboot button, It will reboot your modem.

----------

B: DNS flush
Now this is something that sometimes works, Check you ping before doing this and check it after doing this, Tell me if it worked for you

Step 1: Click on start button
Step 2: type "cmd" in search box and hit enter, A black window will appear.
Step 3: Copy past this code and hit enter,
Code:
ipconfig /flushdns

Step 4: It will do the trick now check your ping, Tell me if it worked for you , It works for me sometime

----------

C: Other suggestions

=> Before you begin, create a restore point ( http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windo...tore-point )

IF, you are using a lot of background applications while playing disco (in example skype, browser, &nstuff) then ( http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windo...=windows-7 ) increase your virtual memory to a maximum of 4 GB. Not more
else you can skip that

IF, you should be on a computer with only 2 GB or less memory then ( http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/attach...1269231650 )
That links directly to the file, so it will download automatically. Unzip and open up the executable. Once you've opened it up, follow the steps.
Step 1 - select the Freelancer ( not dslauncher.. ) executable (.exe).
Step 2 - check the check box
Step 3 - Save changes.

IF, your fps do just suck .. then ( http://www.razerzone.com/cortex/game-booster )
Let the boost settings be, they are good currently.
Download & Install it
- Boost system, you cannot add freelancer.exe as DSLauncher has to run it... ( alleys work 8| ) also adding DSLauncher there is useless
just boost your overall system

IF, your CPU is very slow/bad then ( http://www.coderbag.com/Uploads/Unpark-CPU-App.zip )
Again it's a direct download link, unzip and install
It will keep all your cores ready for use and won't let them go into running-idle
Basically keeps all cores on 100 % always, overall it should be just fine but you should
probably take care when using this on a laptop/mobile device. It might affect temperatures
a bit keep an eye on that.

These changes can be easily reverted with the same app if u desire to do so

IF, your latency is high, well then ( http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/do...LatencyFix )
Direct-Download

Improves latency - run app and press 'Install' probably run as administrator

The default gateway for most home modems/routers is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 - no need to dive into ipconfig for that one. A quick google search for the manufacturer's documentation might help you out here if it's something else.

There was a sig here, once.

Thanks a lot for feedback , I know most modems have same but I thought maybe in some case it's different from others so getting the right one is better option

I would suggest you to add the following steps to nearly double the fps and reduce latency/lag like heck. This will focus on systems with weakness's

Code:
=> Before you begin, create a restore point ( http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/create-a-restore-point )

IF, you are using a lot of background applications while playing disco (in example skype, browser, &nstuff) then ( http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-virtual-memory-size#1TC=windows-7 ) increase your virtual memory to a maximum of 4 GB. Not more
else you can skip that

IF, you should be on a computer with only 2 GB or less memory then ( http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=34392&d=1269231650 )

Again it's a direct download link, unzip and install

a bit keep an eye on that.

IF, your latency is high, well then ( http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/download13581-LeatrixLatencyFix )
    Direct-Download

Improves latency - run app and press 'Install' probably run as administrator

Some other tips&tricks
Code:
Weak CPUs might profit from changing sound channels from 32 to 16 in sound settings.

You could as well disable your AV while playing to improve the overall gameplay

I've cut out the stuff you could use to increase the system power. There is still starcraft 2 specific stuff left, if you wish you can take a look.

I have 2 PCs on one modem. My kids surf sometimes while I play and they make me red lag, like 96%. So, I yeal on them to stop, they stop, but lag effect remains.

I can't dock in the middle of the battle to solve that (as usual) and stay inRP alive. Is there anything I can do without leaving the battle?

You don't have to tell your kids to stop surfing, we're living in 2015 there are ways and procedures to solve your problem easily, no offence though. They are still your kids, lol. As you are the adult, I guess then you will probably want to prioritize your device(s) to receive the best possible connection at any given time. QoS will do this for you (called: Quality of Service). What's that, you will ask yourself probably now, well here we go;
Code:
Quality of Service (QoS) for networks is an industry-wide set of standards and mechanisms for ensuring high-quality performance for critical applications. By using QoS mechanisms, network administrators can use existing resources efficiently and ensure the required level of service without reactively expanding or over-provisioning their networks.
@Source

You should probably read this <Here>

Also, this is the setup for a FritzBox router
Code:
- Log into your fritzbox router @( 192.168.178.1 )
- Switch to the "Internet" tab
- There you will find a small tab on top called [s]"Joe is awesome"[/s] [b]"Prioritize"[/b]
- Choose a device and an application ( probably the device you are playing/working on and every application, in your case )

Not all routers are supporting the above, but I hope it will still help you to resolve the problem somehow.

Also wanted to note for some routers it might be something like 10.1.10.1
