Basically, my internet disconnects every 30 minutes on my main PC. I'm not exactly sure what the cause may be. As soon as I block the connection, then allow it again, it works for a short while. Only my PC does this, the laptop works just fine.

Any suggestions?

Cable, Win7 professional 64 bit, Bitdefender as antivirus. All worked fine for a while, it started yesterday.

have you tried uninstalling you network card, and drivers for it, then rebooting and letting your comp "refind" hardware and installing back?

Also, try uninstalling any recent programs you have installed.

I haven't installed anything recently. I'll try uninstalling the driver tomorrow, but I'm afraid that it will be a hardware issue.

Please make sure you back up a copy of it somehow aha! If you think it's a hardware issue, your network card ~might~ be on the way out. If you have any spares, replace it and see what happens. Don't go buying anything though just in case I'm wrong. If you can't find the reason here, take it into your closest PC dealership and they might be able to help you out there. They'll also give you some good advise as well.
