Indeed. XP was a rather good system, if one knew how to operate that. I never had problems with it and change into W7 will be done with new PC.

They said they ceased support, but they do still release the occasional security update.
I should know, I'm still using XP to this day.

Ah I miss XP. Shame its not direct x 11 compatible grapically. I miss its stabilty..*Dreams*

Im glad that I got rid of it. Not even the slightest bit of a loss for me, considering how much more comfortable the newer versions are. (sun)

Yup, I also am still on Win XP (SP3).

Those security updates are just the anti-virus/malware killer thing.

It's nice that we still get that.

The link in the OP.... yeah, it is a bit like that.

I didn't cry, but it made feel sad.

I *know* that one day I'll upgrade to whichever Windows is being super stable at the time, but it's not going any time soon if I can help it.
