This is CNS, bringing you all the news that are fit for you.

Breaking news tonight as elements of the Liberty Navy and Bretonian Armed Forces moved in on Planet Leeds in what is the first Allied offensive in months! The push was opportunistic in nature as the Bretonian Armed Forces saw an opening after an unexpected Gallic attempt to establish a beachhead on the New London side of the Leeds jump hole. The Liberty Navy led the operation, with Bretonian units supporting, to soften the Royal Navy forces defending the command fleet in Leeds orbit. The operation is reported to have been successful, but costly for Allied forces as it reportedly took three whole assaults to break the initial defenders. Unofficial reports claim a stalemate may be unfolding, but our sources in the Armed Forces tell us that Allied command has the upper hand! While the Naval Press Office remains tight lipped as to what will come of the operation now, one can only assume Allied forces are regrouping to drive their message home all the way to Gallia!

Stay tuned for more updates!

Note: We will compensate anyone who posts images or footage from the fight with an amount of credits anywhere from 1 to 25 million credits, based on the professionalism of the submissions. Please submit them on this frequency along with the Neural Net address to which we should send the credits! Become a CNS reporter today!

And now, a message from our sponsors...

Chères Madames, honurables Mesieurs,

Our forces in le systeme d'Agincourt will hold, push the invaders back, and push into their space. Here is an example of our military might and what it mercilessly annihilated. The footage is taken from the RNS-Tonnant, a Valor class battleship.

Honourable Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Allies have won a glorious victory in the Leeds system. The fleets rallied back to New London when the goal of the mission was reached, as we have some plans for the future.
We will leak some battle footage so the public is not be deprived of seeing our triumph. It was taken from the BAF|HMS-Dauntless, a Dunkirk class battleship.

1) The Gallic Royal Navy flagship, GRN|RNFS-Chant.du.Cygne, is destroyed.
2) Allied forces reached the Oubli and besieged her.

May the sacrifice of our fallen not be in vain.

Yours sincerely,............................................................................................................................
Admiral George R. Hall, OBE

INCOMING TRANSMISSION, NN NO. #3068711
Sender: Linda Baker
Location: Ve[1.12E4m/s], Leeds
Subject: RE: CNS News Broadcast

Evening; researcher and drone photography enthusiast Linda Baker of the Ve[1.12E4m/s] here, transmitting from Leeds on an open channel.

One of the ship's survey drones were taken off duty and dispatched to the vicinity of Planet Leeds at 1900 hours SMT+0, shortly after rumors, traffic warnings and ship sightings started circulating over the open comms signifying that the fronts would be coming together shortly in Leeds. Wasn't planning on missing an opportunity like that.

Due to the rather limited bandwidth of the Leeds intersystem Neural Net comms array after quite some time with war and a resulting lack of maintenance, I was unfortunately only able to download relatively low-resolution still image footage from the drone before I lost all contact with it at about 2004 hours SMT+0. Analysis of the breakdown of the last data packet from the drone suggests that this was (unsurprisingly) caused by a high-energy discharge in the near vicinity of (or through) the vessel's hull.

A selection of the images received from the drone may be found attached below for your review.
