Nomad Lesser Cloak Issue

I bought the cloaking device from the Shrine as a Nomad Trial ID person. The description says it shouldn't use any fuel and just uses shield energy instead. However, upon using /cloak, it immediately stops due to a "lack of fuel". Is this a bug?

I think it uses batteries as every other cloak.

I'm pretty sure only ships with a K'Hara ID on it doesn't need fuel. The normal Nomad ID or the Nomad Trial ID still need the batteries to run it.

nomad indie cloaks were made to use nomad cloak batteries due to abuse. You should be able to find the batteries in the ammo tab on nomad bases equipment dealers.

Try having a nomad power cell in your cargo bay. Lasts forever as well
