Biography:
David Hastings was born to James and Ursula Hastings on May 6, 791 AS in the capital city of Planet Manhatten. David's father was a member of the Liberty Navy, and had high hopes for him to become an officer in the Navy, too.

David went to private schools on Manhatten, then was accepted to a course on ship piloting and military tactics that changed his life. As a child, he had always wanted to become an independant trader, roaming free of any commercial or military restrictions. But after hearing stories about the ancient Spartans and the battles of many centuries, he decided to enlist in the Liberty Navy

Military Career Service Vitae:

David Hastings was accepted into the Liberty Navy on the 29th of September, 816.

By the 30th of September, 816, he had outfitted an Avenger class Very Heavy Fighter, with the registration number VHF-AVG-3409.

On October 2nd, 816, David was promtoed to the rank of Ensign in the Liberty Navy.

After serving and volunteering for many operations, including some against a capital ship incursion by Order pilots into the New York system, David was promoted to sub-Lieutenant for bravery within 2 weeks of being promoted to Ensign.

He has been on a short leave from the 13th of October to the 17th of October, where he recieved additional training and spent time working with the desk crew on building a new docNET to replace the aged and out of date one currently being used by Navy pilots.
