i haven't heard much but i think i read somewhere that it was going to be good.

i have CNC Generals and that is one really very good rts and heaps of fun with explosions and lots of hard fighting. (love the terrorists -- "AK47s for EVERYONE!!!")

so i have good hopes for RA3. i will probably wait 1-2 yrs before getting it though.

EA games™ means that you get to enjoy this game five full times (should you decide to uninstall it) before you're forced to buy a new copy. Yeah.

EA also seemed to think that something was missing, so they added giant anime robots and a jap school girl with PSYCHIC powers! Hell yes! (actually no)

Really now, is this what games are all about now a days? To take a piss at the ones who came before them all for the sake of "LOLOLOL NEXT GEN"?

Red Alert has devolved to a silly pun fest, the only "serious" C&C game left is the tiberium series... but i'd rather play Tiberian Dawn rather than Tiberium Wars.

The RA series lost me at 2.
I just thought it was too much of a joke compared to the first one.
I'll probably get RA3, but not anywhere close to release.

I'm a big fan of the C&C series. Heck, Tiberium Dawn was the first PC game I ever played, back when it came out. I was four at the time. Oh, the memories...

So, yes, I'll definitely try it, however much it pains me to say it. Some things about it just look... umm.... well, it has tanks that shoot guys at things and giant mecha, and... a psychic Japanese schoolgirl. I can forgive the mecha. I can sort of forgive the tank that shoots guys because the Soviets get GIANT ARMORED BEARS (!!!). But I CANNOT forgive them for making a psychic Japanese schoolgirl. Even if her name is actualy a play on words, with the real meaning of "Girl Yuri Omega". I want to hear Hell March 3, and I want to see the Soviet attack bears. They really lost me there with the Japanese faction, though. To be honest, I'm not too fond of some of their units, which just seem way too silly to me.
