People have forgotten. A peaceful silence has spreaded over the Taus. Diverse outcast factions quarrel over blood feuds of no importance while guilds and enterprises set foot in the niobium and berylium fields. The Royal Navy, focused in their war against other houses, has seemgly forgotten what lays beyond their own frontiers. Even the rising cardamine cartels are deaf and blind to this blatant, downgrading self confidence displayed by those who oppose the Orange Dream.

The Xtreme Fighters were slaves. They're no outcasts, as their DNA hasn't changed from that of a human being. They're no geniuses, as they've received no education. What they are, is the top of the food chain. Unmatched skill and abilities that granted them their freedom. Unparalleled speech, that secured a seat in the Council of Dons. Bast resources achieved through extortion and victories over other clans.

Morpheus led us once. Now, the Senate, inheriting his fearsome authority, has gathered the Xtreme Fighters once again. The Taus will give testimony of a bloodshed like no other ever before. The inhabitants of the Taus will remember that their lives are only borrowed.

OORP:

Event summary: XTF tagged players will engage against every other faction present in the system. Said factions will engage against the XTF exclusively. No other outcasts will be present. Outcast players who wish to join will have to come in non-OC ships to fight against XTF.

Date: Sunday 23rd of August. At 20:00 the groups will gather. At 20:30 the event will start.

Where: Tau 37.

Reason: In August 24th XTF becomes 11 years old. Let us celebrate.

Participants:
-The members of the following official factions support this event: IMG|, [C], [TBH], BAF|, BHG|
In addition, the following unofficial factions: {B}, [ALG]
-Any non-outcast ID'd player is welcome to participate, indy or not. Freelancers may also participate.
-We're looking to gather as many players as possible. This affects both sides. Don't worry about odds.

Rules:
-XTF currently owns 2 battleships. Therefore, the opposing side will also have 2 battleships as a whole. This means some factions will not field battleships. These spots have been taken by the members of the factions that support the event. No other capital ships will be allowed in the event. A total of 4 battleships, whose pilots may return to the fight upon defeating the other capital ships in snubs.
-XTF players are forbidden to log non-XTF tagged ships for the event.
-Snubs only. Check with the ban list.
-XTF will not be supported by other outcast players or allies. Players who wish to aid XTF can do so logging hostile ships and killing them.
-No respawns. Players who have been killed during the fight will not be able to rejoin. More information below.
-No basehugging. No sundiving. Fight until the end.
-Battleship players may rejoin the fight in snubs once they die or defeat the opposite side's battleships. This is a measure taken to garantue that they have something else to do after melting under fire from 30 fighters.

Perks:
-Players do not need to register for the event. Doing so however, will open up the possibility of a special ship rewarded by the XTF. In order for this to apply, you need to register and participate in the event.
-Players of the factions listed above are automatically registered.
-As a common agreement for the event, OORP alliances will be allowed and ZoI restrictions ignored.
-The Hall of Fame has been temporarily opened for guests. You can visit it here to learn more about the older members of the XTF, some of which are said to be the best players ever in Freelancer.

Development:
-The event will start at 20:30 server time in Tau 37. The fight will last a maximum time of 45 minutes. Players killed previously will respawn and move on to Tau 23, where the fight will resume at 21:15 with the players fully restocked. After 45 minutes, the fight will move on to Tau 29, where the last battle will occur. After that, the event will have officially ended. Players who survive the battles are strongly encouraged to move on to the next battle despite not having killed all their opponents.

Bans:
-The following ships or weapons are banned from the event:
-Doublenova bombers.
-Double razor SHFs.
-Full missile/torpedo layouts.
-Capital ships (from gunboats to battleships, including freighters and transports).

Gifts:
-It's our birthday, but because we're drug addicts, instead of getting gifts, we're giving them out. Players who participate in the event and register may be selected by an old XTF player to receive a tagged ship. Said tag will be password protected. The ship will be named: *Tag*.*Oldplayername*'s.Fan
Example: [AT]~Redman's.Fan (AT= A tag).
As such, these ships will be unique. Renaming is of course a possiblity.

ALG will be more than welcome.

It is worth mentioning that the people in the hall of fame, excepting 2 members, were all Very Heavy Fighters. No current players in the clan have achieved that status skill wise.
