on route from Planet Honshu with a extremly dangerous and perishable freight of Plutonium for the Zoner's Base Lanzarote.
While we had to dock in case of the Ion Storms approaching and some necessary repairs, i'm able to write this report.
This Evening by 0450 Hours PM the Corsair with the IFF [OPG]Black.Mutt engaged our
Transporter. Since we Zoners have a good trading relationship with the Corsairs I stopped
immediatly although Black.Mutt already fired a Cruise Disruptor without further warning.
After that he told me that i have to pay 4 million Credits as a Tax because i was in his believe a
Liberty Police Spy in the Zoners Faction. But since i had my Zoner's ID onboard and as a Member
of a Zoners Company i thought the fact that my IFF's still showing the old Owner's allegiance with the Liberty Police wouldnt be any Problem.
As we were engaged and already had several hull leaks I transferred the money to him to save my Crew's life.
Though I guess that this incident was a mistake and should be solved as soon as possible by transferring back the Money. I will otherwise demand a full trade embargo over the Corsairs Bases and Planets and a full remove of their Ships IDs from our Freeport's landingpermissions.
If we are not able to maintain peace in the Borderworlds but start fighting our Allies we will soon end up in a mess like the big Houses are in!
Before we continue on this discussion and address what possible actions we can take, it would be best if we could get some more information on what happened.
Your IFF did show up as Liberty Police? This is important because there are many transports that have stolen our ship IDs, yet are not actual Zoners. Simply greedy traders trying to take advantage of our neutrality. As such, Corsairs and many other pirates pirate them anyway. If this is the case, and you had a Police transponder, than the Corsair took steps we could have expected him to make, and an act we cannot fault him for.
The second question I have; Which solar system were you in when the Corsair stopped you? This is quite important as well.
I suggest you fix your transponders to correctly show your allegiance. Also, you need to register for the Zoner Council if you wish any protection we may be able to offer. It may, or may not, help. But its worth a try, for pirates are more likely to leave you be and respect neutrality if you are a member of the Council.
On the suggestion that we prohibit any Corsairs from docking our Freeports.. I can guarantee it is not going to happen, nor will I encourage such an act in the Council. We cannot punish an entire nation for the act of one pilot, who may or may not even be at fault in what he had done.
Allies? Zoner, we're only friendly to you as long as you keep the food shipments coming, and as of late, food shipments have been sorta dry. Know what this means? We ain't so friendly right now, comprende?
Something as insignificant as an ID doesn't grant you immunity from our.. ways. If you want our friendship, you'll have to earn it, like anyone else who isn't born with Corsair blood in their veins.
Until then, I'll be keeping an eye out for you, to repay you for this.. insult. And don't be so sure than 4 million will buy you your life.

My, my, another Zoner complaining about their treatment in our space. Amigo, you should know that the word 'ally' is thrown around far too often. Much alike the word hate, Si?
Zoners are by no means allys of the Corsair nation. You are respected business partners, neutral to us, but we by no means trust you enough to be allies. Keep the food coming to Crete and you may just retain that neutral status in the coming years.

The corsairs are well known pirates through sirius and that's normal they won't trust someone carrying a malfunctioning IFF transponder.

I was always friendly to any Corsairs and i'm always willing to give a Donation, but treating us like any other Ship out here makes me believe we should divert our Routes from your Systems and find other Clients for our valuable Services.
I remember i just send a little donation for Food and Drinks to the [OPG] already this morning.
And be sure we will fix this transponder problem soon after this incident and register ourselves fully to Zoners Database.

Oi, I hear you complainin' now 'bout the way I treated ya....
To be honest Zoners pass without being taxed by me. But I cannot not tax a supposed Zoner with a LPI transponder.
I could not take the risk that you're a LPI undercover agent trying to steal secrets or do some of my hermanos harm, while he's pretending to be tradin'.
As for the damage that was done, it was only for my peace of mind that your shield stayed down .... the hull damage was by the neuron star in Omega-41.
Now if ya want special treatment get a proper transponder and start shippin' that food to us (not only in small quantities) ....
... My treatment to you (or any other Zoner pretender) won't change unless they are a true Zoner....
An ID is no protection from the corsair fleets. A true Zoner has an IFF to match.
A corsair that runs into a policeman/military ship usually destroys it. Consider yourself lucky Zoner, if thats what you truly are.
As a side note, when was the last time I saw a Zoner food shipment in Gamma.....?
We seem to be relying more on artifact smugglers than Zoners recently so I don't think your pathetic mewlings currently carry much weight.
Couldn't help noticing the ATA are allied to Liberty Police, Military and LSF but only friendly to Zoners.....
And there I was thinking you were a member of a Zoners company, demanding a full re-imbursement of funds, removal of all docking rights and a complete trade embargo.
