"The problem with you is that you can't tell the difference between friend and foe. Terror is NOT your friend!"

A simple flight through Omega 5, Da? Seems simple enough to do? Wrong, the days have changed I know it now. The very first thing to happen was fun enough for me, a Military transport by the name of Fred_Day, I found it wandering through the Omega 5 system, logically, decided to stop it. He decided to cruise away, the difficulty of that asteroid was... nonetheless challenging for the disruptors, I followed him through to Omega 11, and this Rheinland Military transport just, refused to listen, its frustrating... But, you know how that story goes... he popped like a rotted pumpkin...

Afterwards, I decided to enjoy my time in the lovely system I was in, a system defined as dead, but dances with life with a little push from the flashing neutron star at its core. It was a lovely sight to behold while sipping a cheap drink aboard Freeport 5. Afterwards while on the return trip to Zvezdny, something more intersting happened when I jumped in...

Once I jumped into Omega 5, a trap laid down was waiting, a Corsair fighter, no doubt it had observed me as I went through the jumphole, and was waiting for me to come back through... As soon as I jumped in, it dropped a few words and immediately started pelting into the already aging Revolution bomber.

It was insane, even I couldnt take on this guy in the bomber I sat in, I had to get back home, fast. However, lucky for the Corsair, he wasnt able to grasp that Cruiser Disruptors werent that effective in Asteroid fields, he followed for quite some time as we danced through the Omega 5 System, but I eventually made my way back to the Omega 52 jump hole, jumping home and heading for some long awaited vodka aboard Zvezdny.

...

This shows me just how busy and chaotic the skies are getting now... what is to come in the future?

"I won't die sir."
"Really? You don't look like you could hurt a fly."

The skies of Rheinland were alight today, in the wash of Revolution. The Hessians had mounted an offense in the Dresden system, and they asked us as their allies to come, so the command dispatched a few ships, me, a brave fighter pilot named Xiu Ying, a Storm gunboat named Yegerov, and the primary cruiser Ulyanovsk. At near noontime we gathered at Leipzig in Dresden, and as we were waiting no doubt a distraction set by the military showed up, a poor bounty hunter gunboat... Poor guy didnt last long against our force, I hope something came along for his escape pod.

Soon after we actually headed into battle, finding the desired targets, two Rheinland Cruisers. We saw them from a distance then moved in. The Cruisers were magnificent in combat, and the fight was going well, until our gunboat got a little too close... it didnt last long at close range.

Quote:Yegorov-1 was put out of action

We turned the tide for a short time though, we laid a trap for the Rheinland fighters, luring them near our cruisers where they were pummeled by Battle Razors.

Quote:[RM]Ge.Roland.von.Marck was put out of action by SCRA|CPW-Ulyanovsk (Gun).

The tide didnt stay turned even then... the cruisers ganged up on the Hessian cruiser, moving in and ripping it to shreds...

Quote:RHC-Dondergod was put out of action by a hostile vessel.

After we started losing in forces this number, the call was made to pull out, I pulled my pod and went into the hold of the Ulyanovsk as it sped home, we arrived back in Omega 52 with our lives, but not the victory of the fight...

Something came to me in this fight though... I was told through training I wouldnt hurt anything, I'd be a mere trade escort my whole life, that changed 15 years ago, and it came back to me today the laughter that comes to me when we blow those ships up, it makes me realize what happened.
