LAN Server won't start

I wanted to run my own lan server, to try out ships etc on my own before investing time and money on them in the 24/7 RP Server, but the FlServer application crashes immediately as soon as I try and open it.

I can't find any tutorials on running your own LAN server anywhere, is there something I'm missing or doing wrong?

You can also use the Disco Singleplayer for testing ships etc.

When you enter the singleplayer, just type "help".
