Joint Statement by Interspace Commerce and the Bundesrepublik of Rheinland

Bonn's conference room was bustling with news reporters from Rheinland and all major Houses. They were taking photographs and finishing any last minute issues. In addition, a large number of Interspace officials were seated opposite of the podium, waiting patiently for the press conference to begin.

Ten minutes later, Interspace Commerce's House Director Matthias D. Falkenrath, and the representative of Rheinland's Government approached the podium for their joint statement. Matthias was sweating, he wasn't used to so many people watching his every word and handshake. He started his speech first.

"It is with great pleasure to announce that Interspace Commerce has fully returned in the Bundesrepublik of Rheinland. We are quickly moving our headquarters back to Bonn Station and the cargo restrictions on IC-affiliated shippers will certainly be lifted as soon as the negotiations with the government of Liberty are concluded. It should be mentioned that a large number of companies are already planning to open their offices again on Bonn Station.

For about a month, we held extensive talks with Chancellor Neumann and our partners in the government of Rheinland and we reached a mutually beneficial agreement. It is in the best interests of both Interspace but also of the people of Sirius for Rheinland to prosper again and that was our aim during the negotiations. The trillion credits loan to Rheinland with its long-term repayment value and lack of interest is the basis for Rheinland to return into growth and development. Our return also guarantees economic stability and insurance.

I would like to announce that Rheinland is now a business-friendly House again with a stabilized economy and very high economic perspectives for the next decade. Interspace Commerce is also offering market products for potential new investors considering to invest into the growing economy of our House.

Our next goal is the stabilization of commerce between Rheinland and Liberty. Subsequently, we will continue working closely with the government of Rheinland. Thank you everyone."

Matthias finished his speech, and now was the turn of the Rheinland government representative to speak. He sipped a portion of his water.

Judging from the strict security measures and number of federal police officers as well as men in suits with earphones from Secret Service all around the Bonn Station, it was obvious that some of the high-ranking member of Rheinland governemnt will arrive to the event.

Few minutes before the beginning, the doors in the room next to the conference room opened and the chancellor Neumann entered, accompanied by several agents. She noticed the familiar face and headed towards House Director Falkenrath for greeting and short small talk.

Shortly after they entered the podium in the conference room together. Chancellor smiled towards the people in the room and waited while Interspace Commerce's representative finished his speech. Then she nodded with smile towards him and started her own.

"Honourable representatives of Interspace Commerce, distinguished guests, journalists and fellow citizens of the Bundesrepublik Rheinland!

I´m glad to be hier at the event which marks major turn on the Rheinland´s path towards better future and strong Vaterland. It is no secret that our economy is not in the best shape, exhausted by long war with Liberty. But the war is over and we can finally change the priorities - which we were forced to shift by others - back from building warships and weapons to building houses, schools and hospitals.

To return from destruction to construction.

To return from hostility to cooperation.

The return of Interspace Commerce to the Bonn Station is a proof for everyone that the current Rheinland wishes no enemies and no wars if the other side has peaceful intentions. That we wish restoration of peace and commerce even with those which were our enemies. Goal which we try to achieve during current negoations with Liberty.

I happily welcome that one of the largest corporations in the Sirius and financial giant - the Interspace Commerce - shares this goal with us and is willing to prove it by significant actions such as the long-term trillion credits loan or restoration of insurance services for all our companies.

Let the Bonn Station be one of the symbols of new era of Rheinland which we started to work on. Era of economic growth, wealth and prosperity which we will one day enjoy and celebrate!"

Chancellor finished her words, turned towards House Director Falkenrath and smiled again. The room was then for several tens of seconds filled with flashlights as the journalists from all important media were taking photos of important event symbolized by the handshake between both representatives at the podium.
