Hello,

I am sorry if i am reporting in the wrong place
I tried to find a section where i can report an error in the forums blocks/links etc. but couldn't find.
Check the "Invasion: Newcastle" block. When someone click on the timer, it sends to this link
http://www.timeanddate.com/clocks/freecountdown.html
It send to the free countdown website
It's easy to forget to remove the link when you use some engines to create the codes for you
It happened to me a lot, since i am the one who designed and built the discovery freeplay no-rp website, but sadly it's gone now.
I think the link need to be removed or whatever you decide guys.

Regards,
Malmsteen

No. Usually if you use work done by someone else, you credit them. In this case, they used something that was provided by another website.

It can be that case @"Nyx" , i have no idea
but it's confusing since it opens the link in the same window.
So if someone browsing the forums and click on it, then he/she will be directed to the counter page on same window, closing the discovery GC page.
btw @"Nyx" , do you work with discovery gc forum designing?

There is unfortunately no quick way to make that link open in a new tab, as it's in an external embed that's controlled by timeanddate.com (who haven't set the link to open in a new tab, and don't provide an option for doing so). If it really is that much of an issue it'd be possible to hack together an overlay div with a link that opens their site in a new tab, but I can't say that really seems to be worth the effort to implement (nor would it be up to me to add such a thing). Removing the link altogether is a no-go anyhow, as timeanddate.com require attribution for their work, as @Nyx mentioned: The link is supposed to be there.

PS: The appropriate subforum for reporting forum issues/suggestions is the Site & Board Feedback subforum, for future reference.

You know when your choice of font is bad, when anyone looking at your post either does not read it or has to use the Reply function to read it without formatting.

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502

Do you guys really need to embed stuff from other site for countdown? That thing would be easy enough to implement by oneself with basic JS knowledge.

Sure, feel free to do it and we'll use it. Ensure it can be easily configured by someone with 0 programming knowledge as well.
