i had a dillemma today....

ok this is what happened i loaded freelancer (beta 1 activated) and went to the server and is said beta 2 so i was like 'ok i'll go download the new one' and i download it and activate it and it says freelancer.ini IS MISSING? and after going through the cab files in the disk and finding freelancer.ini and extracting it i load freelancer.....it gets as far as the title screen and then crashes i end up having to reinstall freelancer :angry: which took me 20minutes....... after that i installed beta 2 and activated it THEN IT WORKS!!!

why is that??

I've had the same problem with mine and beta 1. I think you have to make sure the first version is totally deactivated before downloading. As to why, I have no clue.


The bretonian battleship in on leeds along with the gunboat. check out Cambridge for the destroyer. I've never flown a KU cap ship in this mod, or anywhere else for that matter, so I don't know. Sorry.
