00:09 - Battleship Normandie, Deep Omicrons

"Normandie Control, This is Eagle-1 Zeta Gamma, requesting permission to land."
"Permission granted Eagle-1 Zeta Gamma, welcome back."

The Normandie was hiding in one of the Omicron's numerous nebulas, occasionally spotted by Core or Order patrols. Its advanced hybrid reactors allowed it to stay cloaked for days before it had to move to a new area, which was a blessing to stay safe from the numerous angry nomads roaming this area of Sirius.

The Bastet landed in the Valor's large docking bay among the numerous Lynxes and Guardians populating it, always appearing as an oddity among the crowd.

Minutes later, the hatch finally opened as the operative stepped out of her ship, a sealed container in hand, quickly approached by an ensign.
"Hey Ma'am, any maintenance yo' need be done?"
"Negative, but send a priority messge to Dr. Carsen. Tell him I have the package."
"Fo' real? You mean we gon' be leavin' this stink?"
"Affirmative, ensign."

The ensign seemed to be suddenly empowered by the prospect of leaving the Omicrons, drifting among the ships in the hangar and the crew.
The delivery of the message was definitely assured.

00:17 - Battleship Normandie, Deep Omicrons

The elevator bell ringed and the operative stepped inside after the doors slided open, her briefcase still in hand. The elevator slightly squeaked under the new weight, the exosuit she was wearing being quite a heavy thing.

"Level Seventeen, Medical."

The Normandie's AI answered with a simple two-toned sound as the doors shut. It gave her some time to think about all that was achieved on such short notice, and what was to come. It took almost a year of various operations all over sirius just to get their hands on an object weighting less than a kilogram. But the real challenge was the one ahead. All of this work would be rendered void if they failed to obtain the final piece they needed, and that item of interest was tightly locked away from their hands in the most secure location of the Omicrons: The Order Science Division headquarters on Akabat.

The elevator's doors slided open and the operative stepped out. A few corridors further, the Biohazard Lab was in sight, guarded by a dozen marines. After a small routine check and a minute in the decontamination chamber, she finally made her way inside the Biohazard Lab.

"Dr. Carsen. Here it is." she said, gently depositing the briefcase on the table.
"Miss Miller... is this it?" answered the good doctor, his eyes off his microscope.
"Indeed."

Kate Miller entered the code on the briefcase's keypad, the magnetic locks releasing shortly after. The room began to be filled with a bright blue light coming out of the briefcase, even though it was barely open.

"This is... incredible...beyond words..."
"A lot of people died to get this. Let's just hope it wasn't in vain."
