Simply put: Will gunboat class ships cost more in 4.85?
A side question would be: Will all caps cost more in 4.85?
I'm really only worried about the gunboats, as those are the biggest ships I fly, and will probably ever fly. I don't trade (or smuggle) and I squeak by off graphic jobs and such for any real income. So if all of the sudden, the GB prices jump from around 25 million, to something like 50 or 75 million, I'd like to know, as I would buy one or two that I have planned on now, rather than later, when I won't have nearly enough.
If the price jump is neglegible, than no matter, but if it's something like I said above, I would like to know if possible.
I was just going to spam with "Find out after the update!" But I share your sentiment, since I may upgrade my Sentinel line to a gunboat for RP purposes.
I would also like to find out if prices will 'jump', oh I hate trading too.
Like every other thread concerning 4.85 specifications, the answer will be pretty much the same.
Please just wait and see. You may have to trade then, like most of the server does occasionally.
But till then, just play as usual. No point in waiting for something that might not happen.

It was already said somewhere else that a lot of capships will get their powerplant changed (to a better one), now to get this new powerplant you'll have to buy the ship again.
So rather don't buy any caps now.
(on a funny note: someone told me we should keep saying this and then delay 4.85 for a year, to reduce capship numbers :D)

Please stop with these "In 4.85" threads. Let it happen and stop trying to plan for it. There are so many wonderful things being worked by people from our community, if you try and plan for everything you will make yourself crazy. Like a newborn opening it's eyes for the first time, see 4.85 with a blank slate of expectations, you will find it so much more momentous that way.
