RP idea

Okay seeing as how i'm like deprived of disco right now:(

I keep bringing up ideas.

1: A prison liner ( I already have a name of the ship though
not going to say it's name for theft reasons) that carries
bounty hunter pilots shot down by the Order/Corsair or whoever
hate the BH. The ship would be Order Guard affiliated. Traveling
back and forth from Minor to Gamma. Mostly hiding in Minor
for nomadic reasons.


2: A trade vessel (also to remain nameless) of the Order
Guard affiliation. It would carry ship/construction/military/etc
material to and from Order space. (This is a no profit
trade route. Or has little to none. It's strictly for RP.)

3: When 4.85 comes and if the recon order ship arrives.
(Its name already stated in many places as Kestrel) it
would mostly hide out in Iota space and surrounding
Nomad controlled space. Researching nomad planet/ships/
rocks/etc.

4: Order Camera Ship. A power game ship that is used as
a drone for Tenabras. Flying into opposing faction space
and taking pictures with Order Cloak technology.




PLEASE - Voice your opinions on all these and no flameg!
I am currently making logos for each of there stories
if the recieve high approval from the community.

The spy drone thingy would probably need special RP request
but I think the rest are fine.

It does look a bit iffy, as well as the fact that you have used the words "power game" in the description.

Yeah the "cloaked" probe is always used... the "press" uses these strange cloaked ships as well.

However, using a camera ship to simulate a cloaked ship is possible, just don't expect any players to RP you as cloaked.

I like the idea, and it certainly makes use of the camera ship.

If the camera ship idea for the probe gets scrapped, I recommend the Kadesh LF.

Actualy I scrapped the idea of the ship myself sorry for the delayed response I dont have internet so I can only respond when I work.

the other ideas however. I still welcome opinions on those.

a prison liner flying back and fro gamma / toledo? - with the BHG warfleet restricted to that part of space.... i don t think the expected lifespan of such a ship is very great.

i d rather suggest a stationary BHG prison in 100... giving BHGs ( serious ones ) a reason to plan rescue events WITH the order. ( as opposed to ambushing it when no one is looking - wheres the fun then... the chances of success might be better - but no RP interaction then )

there will be a stronger presence of BHGs in this part of sirius - due to ID changes and other factors. - so a liner will be a bit too exposed when its travelling - unless you bring some serious escorts ( in that case - it can be fun... but no escort can help a liner, if everyone simply focusses on the liner instead of the escorts... )

I like jinx's idea more but thing with that is I don't like hiding in one place to long. My behavior of being bored can lead to me going ooRP for the fact I was in one place to long. With little to no people entering the system. Since BHG have now populated our systems I would think since it is within the RP of the Tenabras it would probably have an Osiris escort if not more than one.

It would also only go on the outside parts of the systems. Again mostly hiding in Gamma for nomad reasons(They pretty much annihilate liners). Though as you stated whatever system it would be in it would be mostly stationary when it makes it to it's new location. A permanent stationary target is way to easy. Especially for a prison liner.

That's why I didn't want it to hide in one system all the time.

well - yea ... what i meant was rather... don t fly back and forth like a trader with only minimal escorts. ( which you will not have planned, i guess - but which can easily happen when you re bored )

when you re order tagged / IDed AND have BHG pilots aboard... you can be shot down ( and you will be shot down ) by BHG capital ships, cause you re no trader and they have more than a good reason to get their buddies out.

and even if an osiris escorts it ..... if someone wants to kill the liner.... the liner dies. simple as that. - in RL, such a thing does not happen - cause no one would simply shoot down the liner- they would HAVE to kill the escorts first and then board the liner.

but in FL... you can kill the liner in a shiney fireball and beam the remains aboard.... kills the purpose of the escorts, really.
