Hey guys.

I've tried finding the audio for the Freelancer campaign but I can't seem to find the bits I want. I've looked in:

"../Freelancer/DATA/AUDIO"

And obviously found the audio folder. I've had a look around, especially in the "../DIALOGUE" folder and I can't seem to find any of King's speech in space. Or very little of it. Does anyone know where I can find it?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TkAiBTHLhY#t=22m50

Things like that, the whole first encounter with the Rogues and fighting. I can't seem to find any of their dialogue. Can anyone direct me to these locations please? Have I just completely missed it or am I looking in the wrong place?

Also I'm looking in the Freelancer directory, not Discovery.

Thanks.

Snoopy

Watch out in AUDIO/MIXES, if you're looking for that.

Mixes? Alright. I'll have a look around there again in a bit. Last time I looked though it had a few pieces of Music in it. Maybe I didn't look enough.

Thanks!

Just had a look, they're not there.

Also, where can I find npc chat such as "I have you in my sights"?

As far as I know you had to unpack them first. Iirc the ".utf" files should be it. There is an unpacker for that.

I have it on my old pc. Would be nice if someone else could upload it since it is a lot of work to get that thing running again for this little tool.

Try the .utf files in DATA\AUDIO. They have lots of sounds in them, as well as unused sounds.

Great, thanks! I've just got to find something that'll open it now.

That worked great, thanks! There all labeled like "0x8080Db89" so it's going to take some time to find the ones I want but yeah, thanks!

I had my trouble with that back then too. But at least you know the basic direction by the original filename. Good luck!
