So, I've had a thought about it and I'm going to be making a few Capital Ship PvP Tutorials in my free time. They'll post likely be the combination of videos and text. This will include Cruisers, Battleships of all sizes and Carriers. The question is, what sort of topics do you think would be useful for a Capital Ship PvP tutorial?
Maybe some tips about kiting and aiming could be fine too. Maybe also explaining blindfire and so on. There are some people who don't know how to blindfire.
Turret placement, loadouts, maneuvering through various terrain (asteroids, nebulae, etc), grouping weapons (My Bustard has three, for example: Group One is Pulse + Lastlights, Group Two is Pulses, and Group Three is Lastlights.), what equipment is effective at what range (ie don't try to use Mortars on Arrows), the old favorite "What are flaks and why do I need them?", cap-to-cap combat (duel), cap-to-cap combat (group), cap-to-snub combat (duel), cap-to-snub combat (group), and mixed fleet to mixed fleet combat (ie don't charge clusters of caps, indies) would be good things to educate people on how to fight in their capships.
Also, a special on buttcloaking (and countering it) should be done at some point.
Explaining the difference between PvE (more hull damage, little to no Pulse weapons) and PvP (Pulse weapons are more prevalent because they drain energy from powercore, something NPCs do not have but will cheerfully do to you) specific loadouts would also be helpful.
Basically, if I had my way, you'd do two different focuses.
The first one is on actual fighting, the other is on exactly how to kit out a ship to still be standing in a relatively equal fight.
